I wouldn’t trade down past 13. You can still get a pretty top tier rated player at that spot or right before.

I love the irrational takes of this board. DQ will never be this or that.. DQ just turned 21 in March.

Agreed. Way to early to write him off. Big men usually take longer develop.
I’d say about 90% of the board said Dyson would never be good enough to be in a rotation on a playoff team. Hes about to start in the playoffs….
It’s quite hilarious the melts on here of these nobodies’ mock drafts. None of these guys know jack shite. Total waste of time.

Fans wanting a microwave result in a crockpot situation

Well trading two possible high lottery picks for #13 a year early is a microwave result type move.

Instead of being patient, just drafting Fears, seeing how a different coach works with the roster, and waiting until one of yiur best players returns healthy for a full season would have been the crock pot situation….

When you make idiotic low percentage moves, it better work out…

Yup. Dumars is doing an excellent job. Results have been great….

Just happy to be in the club and you’re the blind faith type of fan Gayle loves.,,,”The teams do nothing wrong”.

I really do believe he’s getting paid by Gayle to post these retarded takes, only explanation.

Instead, New Orleans can only look longingly into the draft, wondering what could have been - left only with the consolation prize of Derik Queen (not to mention, having also given up Asa Newell in the process).

Article doesn’t even deep dive that we could have landed the #5 pick instead of Newell….

Before giving up a future 1st...I'd definitely figure out what a "buy out" would cost for his final season. Poole probably thinks he can still play in the NBA...and maybe there's another team out there... as dumb as the Pelicans ...who would take a chance with him....at a supposedly "bargain" price.

I wouldn’t buy him out unless he took a big cut in pay for it. And I’m definitely not throwing away firsts to get rid of him, that’s retarded. This team is going no where fast. Just see if you can get someone off another team that wants to unload a more useful player at the deadline with a bad contract. If not, just let him expire.
10 year contract to a 60 year old coach that usually got demolished by SEC competition.

And a 7 year contract for a coach from Murray St? Crazy for a coach from a mid major to get that kinda deal stepping up to the big leagues.

He totally blew the big two sports hires and cost lsu over 60 something million.

My sister had some for her large dog breed. It tore ligaments in its leg. And they used some excuse to not pay it out. I think they said it wasn’t an accident. Not sure. She dropped it after.

Basically did what Saban did at Bama for years and then when everyone could do it he quit….

Not counting the playoffs, the most important games,

Post season doesn’t count in determining who wins the Heisman. It’s why I said 2/3 of the season and not playoffs.

quote:

Mendoza will go and the predraft manufactured discussion of Mendoza vs. Simpson will look silly.

Never said Mendoza wouldn’t go first. They already supposedly gave him their play book. It’s a done deal.

But no one knows where Simpson will go. Like I said, I couldn’t believe teams took Penix and McCarthy in the top 10. I would t be shocked if he did go top ten or drop to the 20s. No one really knows.
quote:

Yeah the exact time when that 4 game stretch was.

After 2/3 of the season he was the Heisman favorite. I’d say that was outplaying Mendoza or at the very least on his same level. His play sunk in November and Mendoza pulled ahead. I’d say 2/3 of the season constitutes most of the season, not counting bowl games of course.

Exactly what I said….

quote:

Simpson had a really good 4 game stretch against good competition from the UGA game to Tennessee. He was pretty mid after that.

At the end of October he was the Heisman favorite….

He's not. ESPN manufactured a draft storyline

Don’t ever over estimate the gms running these franchises when it comes to qbs.

I didn’t think there was anyway in hell Penix and JJ McCarthy would go the top half of round one. Really Bo Nix either. I didn’t think any belonged in the first round.

Simpson was outplaying Mendoza most of the year and then fell off a cliff near the end.

They have a pro bowl qb already lol

In court Friday, officials said Medina came to the U.S. to seek safety in 2023. They said he turned himself in at the border in Texas, was detained for months and asked to be deported to Colombia but was put on a bus and sent to Chicago. It was one of the many buses that were sent in from Texas that year during federal immigration disputes.

Joe and his hoe the border Czar are directly responsible for this…

Also, chasing someone down over window tint? What a waste of oxygen.

Are you an idiot? Why you think they running? It’s not over window tint, it’s usually because they have drugs or stolen guns in the car. This dumbass had both.
