No. 2 Georgia will be without one of its top running backs for Saturday's highly anticipated SEC showdown against No. 6 Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

Junior running back Chauncey Bowens was listed as OUT on Georgia's initial SEC injury report Wednesday night.

Bowens suffered an undisclosed injury during last week's win over Vanderbilt but managed to return to the game in the second half.

The junior leads Georgia with six rushing touchdowns this season, totaling 124 yards on 35 carries. He has also caught 10 passes for 132 yards and one touchdown.

The good news for Georgia is that running back Nate Frazier was not listed on the injury report and is expected to be available against the Crimson Tide.

Georgia and Alabama are both 5-0 heading into Saturday's matchup, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
