Bryce goes from getting DNP’s to straight into starting
They need to eliminate travel B2B’s
All B2B’s should be played with no travel, I’m pretty sure the league could make it happen

Whoever made this schedule should be shot. Absolutely ridiculous that we roll in at 3am and expected to play at 6:30pm.

Herb and Poole are both out
Zion back in the starting lineup
Zion back in the starting lineup

The last 2 injuries didn't happen on the court or in any way we can see.
JB spoke on this in a presser a week or two ago, basically saying Z has such a high pain tolerance that he doesn’t realize he injured himself until usually the next day or two. So that could play a huge factor into the team being cautious with him also
You know them boys are happy to have a coach that has to get bleeped out on his postgame game speeches rather than “Aw shucks guys yall did darn diddly arn good tonight”

If Borrego gets this team to the playoffs and you don’t hire him as the full time coach there would be a revolt from the players and fans.

They need to write the damn check
As a fan it’s easy to say this, fact is the Pelicans are bottom 3 in league revenue every year, they’re not paying 10 million a year for a coach. Gayle doesn’t have a shitload of liquid assets like other owners do to be able to lose money on the teams.
Y’all know what I mean…

They’re not paying this kind of money for a coach.
The options will be what’s been leaked already, JB, Ollie, Ham, guys in that price range.
I seriously doubt Zion gets traded this year.
A reporter a week or so ago said Zion sat down with the team, the coaching staff and front office and asked them to please give him a chance to get himself right and prove to them he can be the guy.
That shows commitment to wanting to be here, and coming back from that injury 2 weeks ahead of schedule shows he’s making that commitment to try to be better, along with coming off the bench and doing it happily, while dominating 4th quarters. That’s what Dumars and Co wanted to see from him, and what will keep him in NOLA

Borrego out here getting Zion to shoot the best free throw percentage of his career.
It’s amazing what players can do when they have a coach they believe in.
Remove that interim tag, JB is the coach for these guys

There’s not a chance in hell Willie could have gotten Zion to buy into coming off the bench and being happy about it.
JB has his finger on the pulse of this team and they are 110% buying in. I bet Murray comes back and loves it also.
BI hated Borrego’s offense and is the main reason why it hasn’t been ran the last 3 seasons. When JB first came in and tried to install his offense BI complained to Willie and Willie scrapped the whole thing. That was the time BI and Willie should have both been gone.
