re: Joel Meyers on NBA Radio (Re:Coaching Candidates) - Soggymoss
He didn't mention him much, just in passing, but he just sounded like he didn't think he's a serious candidate. He also talked about SVG and retread coaches ages and how he doesn't believe they will be able to reach our roster like a younger coach would....

Joel Meyers on NBA Radio (Re:Coaching Candidates) - Soggymoss
Joel said he would be surprised if coach wasn't hired within the next week. He specifically name dropped Unseld Jr., Ham and Weaver. In passing he mentioned he's sure we had talks with SVG, but he didn't sound like he believes he is a serious candidate. ...

re: Windhorst's Hoop Collective podcast discusses Jrue Holiday trades - Soggymoss
I would rather send Lonzo to New York and take Killian Hayes with their pick and start him over getting Ingles. Ideally with the Lonzo to NY trade we take back Elfrid to run our 2nd unit....

re: Who is a lead assistant that would have you extremely excited? - Soggymoss
Sam Cassell seems to be headed out in LA. He would be choice #1 for me. If SVG is hired though, and Jeff is still out of a job, screw it bring JVG as his lead assistant. ...

re: Windhorst's Hoop Collective podcast discusses Jrue Holiday trades - Soggymoss
I could see Philly jumping in and offering anything outside of Simmons and Embiid that we would want. Jrue and JJ for Horford, Richardson, #21 and 2-4 future 1sts (depending on how much Griffin can con out of them for taking Horford) would be a damn good deal, and I would prefer Richardson over L...

re: Windhorst's Hoop Collective podcast discusses Jrue Holiday trades - Soggymoss
I'd rather keep Jrue if that's the trade packages, especially Denver's. With that deal he's basically treating Jrue as a salary dump....

re: SVG, dude is a left wing nut job - Soggymoss
I've said it before and will say again. If he is hired, I would support him, he is a damn good coach after all. He can do all the political liberal talk he wants on social media, but anytime he stands in front the podium to address the fans of the team, he should be a representative of the tea...

re: CP3 = a high profile coach - Soggymoss
And what did that accomplish? A win for his team. I would like to see someone with that win at all costs mentality mentoring Zion and Ingram. Could you imagine the fire that he would be able to unlock in them? CP3 and Rondo are 2 guys i would love to have on this team, and if we could get CP3 ...

re: SVG Meeting with Pels - Soggymoss
That's my thoughts. This fan base is small enough, there's no need to bring in a coach that will alienate them even more...

re: Rorhbach speculates Harden to Pels in one of many scenarios - Soggymoss
Jrue is getting traded before next season's deadline
I need this crystal ball you have.
half of the people here act like Lonzo is the worst player in the league
Not even close to it, he's in the top 40% of players in the league IMO. The problem is people expect...

So give up the farm and stunt our two franchise player's growth for a 2 seasons of a few extra regular season wins? Damn, you guys are easy to please....

re: Rorhbach speculates Harden to Pels in one of many scenarios - Soggymoss
Then in a year after it doesn't work out, you try to trade him and you end up in the situation Houston is in with Westbrook, you have to give up even more to dump his contract. I get the appeal of Harden, but at 31 years old you don't give up the package thats required to get him, because if it d...

re: Rorhbach speculates Harden to Pels in one of many scenarios - Soggymoss
Did I miss the part where he was hired as coach? Either way, no matter what a player needs to be able to create his own shot. We have a kid that who if he stays healthy and lives up to his potential he would be talked about in same breath as Jordan, Lebron, Magic etc. Do you really want to hin...

re: Rorhbach speculates Harden to Pels in one of many scenarios - Soggymoss
For Zion to reach his full potential he needs to be able to go full iso and develop his ball handling skills. It's something that was talked about alot around here as a hindrance in AD's game, and one that would be talked about in Zion's game....

re: Rorhbach speculates Harden to Pels in one of many scenarios - Soggymoss
He's a regular season only player that folds in the playoffs. Having 3 guys that need 20 shots a night leaves absolutely nothing left over for your bench, you end up with a VERY shallow team that nobody wants to play on because they get no opportunities. You hinder your growth of your young p...

re: Rorhbach speculates Harden to Pels in one of many scenarios - Soggymoss
Absolutely not. You do this deal only if you want to hinder Zion and BI's growth for 2-3 seasons. Minnesota would be a great target for him though, send out Johnson and Culver, #1, their other 2020 pick and a unprotected 2023 1st. Saves Houston 19 million this year....
