Give it a rest. The Catholic Church has its problems but has done far more for this community than any other religion or private business could ever hope to do. I know ignorance is bliss, but this talking point has just become an indication of sheer stupidity.

And for the world.

The Catholic Church is the largest charity in the world.

Too bad Ochsner desperately needed a Benson Children’s hospital next to the Benson cancer center.

I’m not sure being mad about money being donated to fight childhood cancer over being used to build a basketball arena is a hill I would even want to try to climb…

Package Poole and Missi for expiring contracts. We aren't going to get off of Poole's contract without sacrificing something. And, I don't want to divest ourselves of any more draft picks.

Why? Poole will be an expiring next season..

Same with Hawk.

You will find a team at the next deadline looking to shed longer term salary that will give you a 1st or at worst 2nds to take on that salary in exchange for them. No need to package any assets with them including Missi

Saints have a stake in the company along with Jerry Jones.

Not sure where you seen this at, but Saints do not have a stake in Legends Hospitality.

It is owned primarily by Sixth Street Partners (purchased in 2021). Jerry Jones has a minority stake as does the Yankees.

The Saints don’t even have a stake in negotiations between the state and Legends.

He did it for the Thunder series two years ago when concessions were 50% off for pregame.

This can be accomplished by the team paying the concession company back for whatever losses they have, they cannot set the prices though.

The state of Georgia owns the Mercedes Benz stadium and Falcons still have final say on concessions cost.

The state owns it, but they don’t run it. AMB runs it, which is a company owned by Arthur Blank, which allows them the say in it.

Not the same situation with the state of Louisiana owning and running the stadiums

A.I. is usually wrong as they are in this instance.

The team does not collect anything on parking fees except for gamedays.

The team collects nothing on concessions unless or until the concession revenue surpasses 7 million for the year.

The state controls concession prices because they own the stadiums, not the teams.

How nice it must be to have enough talent to just release the #9 pick from 4 years ago. Granted he hasn’t set the world on fire, but crazy to just release instead of trading him.

here lies the problem. it is far far far from just a pelicans problem. the nba has become a player's league. the league needs to take back the power, control, and the leverage back away from the players. Stars only want to play for a handful of organizations. These players get guaranteed contracts to fricking walk around to pout and mope and behave like little bitches. Its a disease plaguing the league.

I don’t disagree with you, that is today’s society though. Can’t force someone to work that you’re paying millions of dollars to, they might get “triggered”

Murray has been ready to go for months now, he just hasn’t came back because he doesn’t want to be here, but now that the trade deadline has passed he has no choice.

There’s already a push for less games.

They would probably cut it to 3/2/2 and cut down to 71 games
Yes, he knows to get a trade he has to show he is healthy

We will need those 2nd round picks to attach to Poole so they can get rid of him.

You might want to look at those picks before saying this.

The 2026 pick is worst of 3 teams one of them being Detroit, so that will be pick 58-59.

The other one is 2nd worst of 3 good teams that will likely be pick 50 or lower also.

You’re not using those picks to dump salary, they will be sold for more cash
