Exactly, OM is to small to be a threat to anyone. LSU’s branding and size by itself with a coach like Lane could become the front and center focus in the SEC, and Sankey doesn’t like that combined with Lane’s style.

This is just hearsay and cannot be proven.
Lane and LSU could just say
“Well after winning their TRO we told them we would roster them, but when the SEC stepped in we informed the players we could not roster them but they could come to camp and practice while they sort out the SEC side of the TRO. At no point in time was it said “You’ll have to sue the SEC to get eligibility, that was up to them and their attorneys”
Easy cut and dry explanation.

Texas made a deliberate and coordinated effort to add a professional player, they were told before the game not to play him though because he is considered a pro.

The difference between our game and those other games is everyone expected OSU, Texas etc to roll those opponents.
NOBODY expected LSU to roll Clemson like we did, so they will ask if Clemson is that bad, because there’s no other explanation for LSU making them look like a group of 6 school.
