No they didn't.
They traded the 4th pick, which was eventually Hunter.
Knowing Griff if he kept it he would have drafted someone other than Garland anyway.

1-3 have a 14% at the first pick
4 has 12.5% at the first pick.

Pel's effectively lose 1.5% being outside the top 3.

With 13 players on the roster next season, including the 2025 pick (lets say pick 2) and signing Boston the pels cap will be $182,821,574.

They still need to add one more player to make 14.

I think they will definatley move McCollum and Olynyk to get under.
