If MM is to be believed, Griff hates Trae.

Just think about this. Who would MM have to be connected to in order to get this information? Even if Griff didn't like Trae, who would he actually tell that to?

What's more likely, MM has a connection so close to Griff that he would know who Griff likes and doesn't like on the trade market, or MM is just guessing that Griff doesn't like Trae because Griff is really big on a family environment and Trae was kinda a headache this season in the locker room?

He's trying to bait people into thinking that he has legit sources via confirmation bias if the Pels do not end up landing Trae. And the odds are in his favor, it's more likely than not that the Pels will not trade for Trae.

MM openly stated that all his supposed connections are outside of the pels. Supposedly, according to him, everyone inside the pels hates him- I don’t blame them.

If we are trying to build around Zion, and turn down a chance to turn Bi into Trae with fairly nominal throw ins, we should fire everyone on the spot. And I’m not Trae’s biggest fan by any means. But him and Zion with Herb and Trey spacing and playing D is a real successful formula.

He's not, ever, in any capacity.

He's a liar that isn't connected with the organization in any way, his info is 3rd hand at best.

You guys can post his bullshite here all you want, just know he's lying when he says "pels want x" or "pels believe x".

How about if you want to discuss his thoughts, you do it with him on the twatter or wherever else he's posting his thoughts at, and quit posting his thoughts on here like it's news. It's pathetic.

He doesn't need Pels contacts. It could be a Hawks one that knows what's been discussed and Griff was like frick Trae.

I don't think he has a ton of contacts fwiw, but I can believe Griff not being into Trae

Griff telling Atlanta “frick Trae” could be a way of getting them to drop their demands for him rather than shutting off all talks.

People do stupid shite in negotiations to try and improve their position.

Interesting segment on Simmons and Rusillo discussing Atlanta's No. 1 pick.

They talked about players they would/wouldn't trade for No. 1. The first player mentioned was Trey Murphy and they both said they wouldn't trade Trey.

They also mentioned Herb. They ultimately said maybe, and Rusillo said yeah he probably would trade Herb for No. 1.

I wouldn't. But your top 3 Pels are set. Zion, Trey and Herb. Get supporting pieces.

Bingo! That is what he has always done. He reads the rumor mill and tries to take educated guesses and pawn them off as his "inside info." Who in a New Orleans organization or league office would trust a small business owner from Utah with their inside information to blab all over X? I see he now is going full carpet bombing on other Pelicans bloggers/reporters as he prepares for yet another departure from X.

Watch Trey command 27-30 mil a year.

This has always been what he will get, 25-30 a year. Toronto overpaying Barnes doesn’t change that

With how each year the cap rises, it’s not that bad honestly. Murphy is the perfect piece if you’re building around Zion.

Trade inbound…?

Green, Landale, Tate, #3, Jabari Jr for BI works. Just saying

We can't complain about Trey ending up 25-30mil considering Barnes at 54mil

To have Trey/Zion/ Herb locked in at 80-85mil the next 3+ years knowing what some young players are currently getting is an absolute luxury.

I'd rather have Trey + Herb + 10mil space > Barnes

I agree Trey and Herb both fit perfectly with Zion.

Actually 5/$225. Can get to $270 if he qualifies for the supermax.

Nevermind, Jeff Green, not Jalen Green

What about something like

Houston: BI, 21

New Orleans: Jalen Green, 3

I may be in the minority but I wouldn’t mind taking a chance on Green. The light started to come on for him after the all star break this past season. Only thing is him and CJ are a no go.

Think he was talking about Jeff Green as salary filler.
