I don’t understand why Zion is the centerpiece. He’s never healthy and they’ve built numerous teams around him and barely won.
Also, what’s the point of spending all that draft capital on Queen if you keep Zion? Queen plays the same position and is better in today’s game than Zion.

Guys is best to assume the worse with the Pels. That way you will avoid getting let down. The chances are that they are going to make the wrong decision.

Yall might fight me for this but I think Bey has taken Herb’s starting spot in Dumar’s eyes. I’m not saying that I agree with it but it sounds like it’s going to be Murray, Trey, Bey, Zion, and another C (I’m not sure who) starting next year.

I think people need to have patience with the rookies. They are hitting a rookie wall like what most rookies do. They have never played this many games nor at this level before. It will take a toll on you. Give them time. Queen is going to be alright !

I say kill two birds with one stone. Play the vets (Poole, Murray, Herb, and Zion) enough to push the pick up to about 8ish and push up their trade value. Then we can start the rebuild with maybe Fears, Trey, Bey, Missi, and Queen as the starters with a first round pick, Peavy, McGowens, and Karlo off the bench. I’d take my lumps with that roster.

I think the part that gets me about this team is that the roster has no direction and doesn’t fit. We seem to be catering to the older team core with Zion, Trey, and Herb but also have a new core of Queen and Fears.
Honestly, this needs to cut bait with Zion and Herb and get what you can for a rebuild. Also, Trey should be had for a Bane package. But I have no clue what Dumars is thinking.
