I watched the first half of the first quarter. This shite is trash
Im not really sure what happened? Why did he run around the first time instead of straight in?
Favorite Pel. Dumars got this right.

C'mon, man. Why are the Clippers, Suns, T-Wolves, Kings, and Bucks also interested in Brogdon?

The teams in that group that have a remotely decent Front Office in recent years is the Wolves and Clippers (maybe?)

But the Clips are also the same team that traded SGA for George and continues to let Game 7 Jim ruin them.

Minnesota has a pretty good FO despite the fleecing in the Gobert trade.

Suns? LOL
Kings LOL
Bucks are also retarded. Washed up Dame trade (not hindsight, called it at the time), Kuzma LMAO
None of it makes a bit of sense.

Team already lacks maturity, professionals and shooting so you trade the one guy that does all that.

I'm fine with trading CJ. But for freaking goofball Poole? The tank commander?

You haven't had a stretch big...ever. So you sign a broken down Looney?

Again, you have a history of out of shape star in Zion so you draft a kid with questionable maturity and fitness and not a great shooter?

You desperately need shooting but draft a PG who can't shoot?

In a vaccum, I like Fears and Queen is kind of intriguing but I don't see how they work on this roster.

That doesn't even get into the ridiculous pick trade or the fact that we pursued another non-shooter in Kuminga.

I want to hear Dumars' vision. What exactly is he trying to do?
Not trying to be overly pessimistic but I have no idea what Dumars is doing.

We are going after guys the worst team in the league is happy to cast off and guys one of the smartest teams in the league was fine moving.

Looney
Poole

Rumored for Kuminga and Brogdon.

I mean in what planet is it a good idea to try to replicate the wizards backcourt and the warriors bigs???

Dumars was a stupid fricking hire. Basically like hiring Ditka. Well past his prime.

I’d say talent wise the jazz are absolutely worse.

Suns are shitty.

Kings are similar to pels. Some mismatched talent that doesn’t fit.

That’s about it though. I think the clippers will fall off some.
quote:

They actually both said much the same thing--they like a lot of the players on the team but don't think they "fit together."

I would love to hear the counter to this.

They DON'T fit together.

There's almost no shooting outside Trey and Poole.

No big who can shoot at PF or C. No PG who can consistently shoot. Jose is our best 3 point shooting PG.

We have some world class doofuses in Poole and Zion.

It's a very weird roster. The trade for Poole makes no sense imo.

Yes, he was better last year. Didn't make a damn bit of difference on the Wizards. I think he's best cast as he was in GS. A scorer on a veteran team.

With this cast of clowns, he will be wild.

I don't dislike all the players. I like Queen, Fears, Trey, Herb, Jose in a vaccum but they are bad fits.

Seriously, I'm sure the camps could get their own flood watchmen with walkie talkies and a bullhorn to watch cameras and alert to anything suspicious.

It's relatively low tech and not that expensive. Even if the cameras stop working for some reason, you've got eyes on the river.
I love Texas and I pretty much despise most of LA now.

That said, I think I'd rather live in LA than Beaumont.

Take that FWIW
We have too much tech for this to happen.

Let's say we didn't even have forecasters.

Moving forward, why not have cameras set up on various spots of the river and pay a damn security guard to sit there and watch them. shite starts to rise, send out the alert.

The camp staff should not be blamed imo. They were heroes. This is the kind of thing that is just a combination of a million different things that go wrong.

I hope and believe these camps will rebuild with preventative measures and be better than ever. Anyone taking delight in this can get fricked.
People will try to assign blame but I’m not sure you can in this case as fast as the water rose.

Bottom line is moving forward I don’t think you can have permanent structures that close to the water. At least not helpless kids. Analyze where the safety line was this time and go up another 50 feet.
This is one of the more gut wrenching stories I’ve ever followed as a dad to two young girls who go to camps like this.

Water will be hitting spring branch soon. At least everyone there has notice.

We crossed the Guadalupe this morning near comfort and it was insane how much water was moving.

This story is making me sick.
The Murray trade was awful.

Dyson > Murphy even before the injury. Now it’s not even close.

I really don’t know what Dumars is doing.

Well I do, he’s running a team like it’s 2002.

No shooting.
