re: Pels will have the 21st pick

And we’ve gotten the 4th and 8th picks from them. Not sure you have a strong point here....

Can a college kid not go to a club days before a workout? I’m not even sure what he’s being accused of here....

How the F do you not run a play with a playoff game on the line?...

re: Zion already working with resistance bands
Posted by PELsu on 4/20/24 at 6:01 pm
He’s going to feel better way before it is ready to go. If he comes back too early and tweaks it again, he is done. I do think he tries but they are going to go every bit of those two weeks I would bet....
re: Outside the box……what about Colin Sexton?

I truly dont think the Jazz trade Lauri. He would be an interesting fit here likely replacing BI. Small ball lineup would be great, but in a traditional starting lineup it would be awkward on defense.
Walker is another guy I love, but just don’t think he fits with Zion at all. He will be comple...
Outside the box……what about Colin Sexton?
Posted by PELsu on 4/19/24 at 8:00 am
I believe that our offense gets stagnant because we don’t have a ton of creation and advantage creators. CJ is more of a shot maker, and as great as BI is, he’s on the slow footed side. When you get to the playoffs, speed and size becomes way more apparent.
Colin Sexton is still more scorer tha...

Why do we never count the win against the Nuggets?...
re: Players that we could potentially trade Ingram for straight-up
Posted by PELsu on 4/17/24 at 9:08 am
Why would we want a legitimate point guard that is not afraid to take 10 3’s a night and can give you double digit assists and is basically the perfect fit around Zion? Gee, not sure
Trae Young was 43% from the field, and a bigger defensive liability than anything we have on our c...

I’m a big fan of Darius Garland. He had a little bit of a down season, but his speed and athleticism really breaks down a defense. I’m hoping Cleveland flames out, and maybe they feel adding BI could help entice Mitchell to stay. All extremely unlikely....

Three of those guys acquired in the same offseason. I agree those are the four I know without doubt I don’t want to leave....
re: Pels v Lakers

Can someone explain to me why we used multiple timeouts early in the fourth, to the point of not having any at the end of a massively important game?...
re: Tickets are the Cheapest all Season… is this a sign?

It hurts fans to see their team lose. One of the more underrated aspects of fandom. Fans may no show tonight not because they aren’t fans. But because they are actually....

re: Pels Game 72
Posted by PELsu on 3/26/24 at 9:19 pm
We got out coached in the end. No excuse not running a quick play for two down three there. And for the 5th possession in a row, we didn’t run a real play. These last couple minutes are everything you practice for. There’s no excuse....
re: Why we don't want to defer the Lakers pick
Yes, but a pick in the current draft is always significantly more valuable than a future pick.
This is not true at all in the NBA. Football, yes. But not NBA...

If we take 2024, can’t the Lakers then simply trade 2025 after draft?...
re: Moving to the offseason
Posted by PELsu on 2/8/24 at 3:29 pm
12.5 doesn’t put us into tax, and I’m not sure we even try to avoid the tax next season. So what do you mean?...
re: Moving to the offseason
Posted by PELsu on 2/8/24 at 3:27 pm
Yep, that's exactly what the raptors just did with siakam and all they got was 3 shitty 1sts and bruce brown. You HAVE to either trade BI or Trey this summer or give them both extensions, be willing to pay the tax and move one later if need be. Otherwise, you have no leverage in a trade and...
Looping back to the original thesis of the topic. There is one way the Pelicans can retain the entire current team for one more year. However, its a gigantic gamble. Pick up Trey's option Pick up DD's option Pick up Jose's option Total 150.1M Center (JV? 12-15M) 162M Gives you 10M to si...
