re: NBA Offseason officially kicks off, Ingram’s days in NOLA coming to an end per Stein

Ingram isn't as much of a foul merchant either. I was pointing out a statistical comparison. No one said ingram is close to shai. There's just stats that make them comparable.
If Ingram is no where close to Shai as a player why even compare them statistically? What is the point of it.
Are you somehow implying if BI learned how to better draw fouls he too could be the type of player Shai is?
When posters literally statistically compare two players and then state “oh Im not comparing the 2 guys”- then what is exactly the point here? Unless you feel Ingram can reach Shai’s level. Not trying to create a long argument but really trying to understand what you see as BIs potential here?

To show similarities between ingram and an elite player? That ingram isn't that far away from an elite player?
It's an offseason conversation

Fair. Although I’m not sure if Ingram would reach that elite status but who knows.

Are we seriously comparing a player who struggles to even make an all NBA team or be an all star to a guy who the past two years has been a MVP candidate?
a stat comparison was made.
Do you think my point was to say that BI is just as good as SGA?

I never replied to your post and wasn’t trying to really interpret your point considering you were countering a point based on someone comparing BI stats to John Collins.
I just think when comparing stats we need to consider the level of players when we do it. For instance, Franz was a good comparison, Shai was not.

So cryptic. Let the rumors fly, boys.

Zion had similar shout out posts on his insta about CJ and Trey as well. Nothing to see here.

Over the past 2 sesons...
When Trey Murphy shoots 8 or more 3s, the Pelicans are 44-9.
When Trey Murphy shoots 7 or less 3s, the Pelicans are 27-52.
He needs to start at ALL costs. I don't care what that means for BI or his trade value or his feelings or anything or anyone else's feelings or playing time.
Trey HAS to start. It is a massive failure if we start the season with Trey Murphy not playing with Zion in the starting lineup.
As I've been saying forever, we are at the point where BI needs to be traded as the sole goal, just move him. Take whatever, if you can find 1 team to give you whatever, you take the deal and move on ASAP. That is better than resigning and hoping for the best and hoping you can trade him later. No, trade him now.

I couldn’t have put it any better!

I think this might be based on an earlier rumor, possibly before the Theis signing, but an article yesterday from a Philly paper lists the Pels as one of many teams that has shown interest in Marcus Morris.

According to sources, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans, and Minnesota Timberwolves have shown interest. The Dallas Mavericks were interested before making roster moves.

I've been screaming the same thing. Not to mention do you really want to start such a pivotal season with such an awkward situation hanging around the locker room?
Give me John Collins and Kessler straight up for Ingram at this point.
Murray/Herb/Trey/Zion/Kessler is a lineup that fits.
CJ, Hawk, Collins, Karlo and Theis off the bench.
You can go shopping at the deadline with CJ and Collins' contracts for any upgrades

I'm not sure why I'm posting this, it seems like a "just kidding" comment, but this is also the guy that seemed to have the inside scoop on Karlo.

I don’t understand what that does for the Pels unless there’s a third team that wants Randle.

Randle and BI are pretty close talent wise. Randle is a little better but neither are winning players imo.

You're going to need a 3rd team just to make the money work. On top of that, the Knicks have been looking for a center too after losing Hartenstein and having Robinson injured, so any deal with a 3rd team the Pels and Knicks might both be trying to bring a center back.
I don't see any deal happening, but it's the only chatter I've seen in a while.

Yeah, a team that can take extra salary would be needed, and Utah is really the only one that would have the space to eat salary along with possibly having a need for someone like Randle.
Randle to Utah with pick from Knicks
Robinson and Sexton to Pels
Ingram and Kessler to Knicks
That would really be the only deal I could see around the league that would make sense for Knicks to be able to get Ingram, but frankly I don’t know if it’s a good deal for anyone except Knicks

That’s cute you think Trey starts if BI gets traded.
CJ is not coming off the bench, and neither is Herb.
