Those contracts are why I thought a deal might not get done. I thought Trey would be seeking that kind of money, which would be a tough pill....

This was always the optimal scenario. CJ is getting older and is fairly redundant with Trey. I think BI's detractors are going to be surprised at how much more efficient he is with a consistent point lead...

I'm not convinced a Murphy deal gets done before the deadline. The team would like to lock him up on a friendly team, but I doubt Trey is thinking team-friendly extension. He just still has a bit to prove before you commit a major chunk of cap to him....
