BI’s market will be there once Lauri moves or gets pulled.

We heard that a lot on draft night too. The day before making a major trade.

Ummm, Cam for sure would be worth it. Lakers are showing they’re not worried about now and are focused on post Lebron/AD already.

They know they aren’t winning with LeBron using a walker to get up and down the court, so they aren’t trading away picks

Between LeBron and Bronnie, the Lakers have pretty much settled above the second apron.

Unless they dump players at the deadline, they get their 2031 first frozen and start getting other restrictions. For a team that is likely to be struggling to make the play in.

They're going to make a small trade of some kind to get under the 2nd apron.

Theoretically they can stretch someone to get under it. But that hurts them for 3 years and may be a player they actually need unlike Bronny,

Sacramento almost got Markannen apparently. Less than 10% chance they trade him.

Yeah that just proves Ainge isn’t dealing Markannen for nothing less than 4 or 5 first round picks plus maybe a young potential star. He’s trying to build Utah like OKC was built.

That's why people should really stop thinking Utah Jazz players who are worth a damn is gettable for a reasonable price. Ainge isn't going to suddenly change.

I hope this keeps blowing up on him, he got lucky in Boston and trying to repeat the process thinking teams are as dumb or naive compared to before.

You can't win every trade. Some of them you have to settle with being even. Some of them you become desperate and need to lose as well.

Fischer definitely makes it sound like Sac is interested in Ingram (and Lauri). He also brought up Gobert and Mitchell and how these things often can drag into the summer. Gobert was traded July 6th, Mitchell didn't get traded until September 1st. He wasn't saying that directly in reference to Ingram or Lauri, he was just saying sometimes these things take time to develop.

Yeah, the Murray trade won’t be finalized until July 6th at the earliest, and I fully expect any BI trade to be lumped into that trade, sk there’s still at least 2 days before we likely hear anything while they’re still looking around the league at other options/moves.

I don’t see Sacramento ending up with Lauri, I doubt they part with Murray for him and you know Ainge won’t do it without Murray, and all the Lauri talk for them is them trying to pressure Griff to lower the price on Ingram a little bit or just take the deal now and Griff try to find his center later.

Eta: I wonder if Kings aren’t maybe trying for BOTH Ingram and Lauri though

They could achieve it with something like this IMO

Kings: Lauri, Ingram
Jazz: Huerter, Murray, picks from Kings
Pels: Kessler, Lyles, Barnes, Carter

Lump that in with the Dejounte trade and it all becomes legal

Agreed. Sacramento can't go all in, they can only go mostly in, and Ainge won't accept less than all in.

That would be way too expensive the following season when BI/Lauri/Sabonis would all be making $45+ while Fox is making $35ish. That's like $170 for 4 players.
