Once these NFL DC’s scheme him vs what he does/doesn’t do well, I think he’ll come back down to earth this yr but light his fire in yr 3.

I’m sure they will, but what doesn’t he do well? They can’t really say “collapse the pocket” because he is good on the move. They can’t really say “keep him in the pocket” because he’s tall and accurate. There are of course things he is better at than others, and they may find a weakness that we haven’t seen yet, but he is going to be difficult to game plan for because he has good tangibles and intangibles.

I watched the first season and thought it was decent. Are the rest good?

I really enjoyed season 3. It’s a lot more spycraft type stuff, which is right down my alley. I still think season 1 was the best, but 3 isn’t far behind. I just did a rewatch recently and skipped seasons 2 and 4.

The sample size is just too small and now the league has tape on him. I

On the flip side, he has an entire offseason and training camp working with the 1’s and developing a rapport with them. I say he’s top 8-10 this year and will be a top 5 maybe by the following season.

Davion and his family seemed like good people.

Draft Day

It’s really not a good movie, but I will watch it every single April before the draft.

It’s very of its time, and I don’t think it works as well for binge watching.

I completely disagree. I never watched it when it was originally on, so I needed a few shows to watch after having surgery recently. I couldn’t stop watching 24. I think I watched the first 2 season in a week.

I feel sorry for the people who sit next to you at the games that you do go to. Hearing your constant negativity and “told you so’s” on here, I can’t imagine what it would be like at a live event.
If I wasn’t 100% positive that I did the right thing by voting against Cassidy before, I definitely am now.

There's a difference in trying to win and trying to compete for championships We are trying to do the former Sell some tickets .. Host a couple of playoff games

At this point, I’m perfectly fine with that. It is what it is. I feel like the Dad of a so-so little leaguer. I know my kid isn’t going pro and I doubt that he will be a college level athlete, but maybe he can be good enough to make the high school team and eventually start.
I was fully expecting us to be #1 or 2 on the list.
I read the title and thought this was a joke. Then I read the post, and shockingly, it seems serious.

Saints are 11-23 last 2 seasons and an underdog in 12 of 17 games this year. No, I’m not ready to crown Gayle doing well in football yet.

The Saints could go 17-0, win the Super Bowl and outscore their opponents 750-0 and you still wouldn’t compliment Gayle.

Absolutely not ideal

1-1 start would be great considering those are 2 of our toughest games all season. But considering that point, an 0-2 start wouldn’t be the end of the world either.

Also, I had high hopes for Rocky and Carlo’s but it was terrible. Just mushy slop that they called gumbo. Quite an embarrassment, but I guess that’s all they have there?

If you went to Rocky’s and didn’t get the Mac and cheese with veal, all covered in the red gravy, then you didn’t really go to Rocky’s.
I lived there before Katrina and had no issues with it. 15 minutes to the west and you were in the French Quarter, 15 minutes “down the road” and you were launching your boat in some of the best fisheries in the world. It was low crime and had a familial feel to it. It’s completely different now though.
quote:

Do they look to move Wallace now? If they are letting Dort go, and we offer Jones/Fears for Wallace/Joe, do they go for that? I would hate to give up Jones or Fears. But Wallace is 22 and a premier two-way PG with all-star potential (definitely all defense). The price is going to be steep, and we aren't going to out deal OKC.

No way. I understand the team dynamics are different, on account of one being great and the other being horrendous, but no way would I make that trade. Fears is 19 years old and averaged 14/4/3 and Wallace is 22 and averaged 8/3/3 in 1 minute more per game. Fears is also 1 year into his rookie contract and Wallace, like you said, is going to get paid soon.
With the supporting cast, If he has to start a couple of home games against weaker opponents, absolutely.

The QB and WRs have to play a full season which historically hasn't been the case in their careers. That's the chance you take with injury prone players

That’s where the depth comes in. We can withstand some injuries and still be competitive now.

Sucks that our WR room is so stacked now, it might be hard to make it based on the numbers

If you said that a year ago, I would have thought you were literally insane. What a turnaround. I can get used to these kinds of problems.
Maybe making some room to sign Kenny Moore?

This quote could be shorter…..”pathetic if it’s Ham.”
