If stein is reporting this , it’s most likely happening and most likely sooner then later

Not sure, What young player could we include that would entice Ainge? We do not have anything better than Murray that we would be willing to include

I think the reports were correct when saying Utah is interested in a Bridges package meaning (4-5) 1st and ok without player assets coming back.

But I do not think we trade for Lauri and hope we don't.

Hopeful for Kessler + WCJ

Praying for Allen

I hope in the future with this new gm we make proactive moves in the trade market. BI should have been traded last summer for the #2 pick

I thought Portland wanted Zion, not BI. Can’t make a trade if the other team won’t accept.

Yup, I’m thinking tomorrow or the morning of the 6th we hear something. I have a feeling Griff has a deal he likes lined up but is waiting to see if any team last minute throws a better offer out and if not then goes ahead with what he has lined up.

Like that move for the Warriors. Pretty cheap contract for Hield.

him and Steph together should be interesting on defense. Two historically great shooters though

I think people want to get rid of Ingram so bad that they will take any deal.

I hope this is not Griffin's attitude. He is too valuable to me to just give away. I understand though that the financial aspects of his extension could be painting us in a corner.

NOLA: Barnes, Kessler, Carter, Sacramento 2 2nd rounders, 2027 Sacramento 1st round swap, 2028 1st round
Sacramento: Markkanen & Ingram
Utah: Murray, Huerter, Duarte, Sacramento 2026 1st, 2 2nd rounders, and 2029 swap

I'm just going to use 1st round picks as value trade.

Ingram = 3
Markkanen = 3
Murray = 3
Kessler = 3

Shuffled accordingly.

Utah loads up on a young star potential guy, few picks, and 2 guys they can likely flip later for more.

New Orleans gets a starting center, a young guard to groom, and some picks.

Sacramento pushes all in giving up potentially 4 1sts, 4 2nds, a young 1st rounder, and a young talent for 2 quality starting caliber players to push all in.

Kings apparently interested in Derozen sign and trade along with Ingram. DD won’t take MLE money, but wonder what the lowest he would take would be?

Yeah, derozan floating out there isn't helping.

I don't think he is taking less than 20.

Maybe he would take 17 if he gets 4 more years.

Huerter holds little value in these trades because he has to be moved for it to work. The other team has leverage there.

Keegan + (1) 1st + (2) swaps
Is not going to be enough for Lauri and Kessler.

Maybe Keegan + (2) 1st Or just (4) 1st. But I'd still think you'd have to add more to include Kessler.

Hopefully at minimum we are looking at:

Kings: BI
Magic: Huerter
Jazz: (1) pels 1st or (2) swaps
Pels: Barnes + WCJ + Kessler + 27' 1st + 29' 1st both via Sac.

(2) 1st + Kessler = decent value
(2) 1st + Kessler + Carter = good value
(3) 1st + Carter = good value (assuming a plan at center)

Some Kings fans are saying they want both DD and Ingram, which fit seems clunky to me but whatever. One thing hurting a DD S&T for them though is Chicago is unwilling to take back any salary, but if we could get the Wizards S&T done with Jonas and have it all tied into the Murray trade we could probably swing it for them. Something like:

Pels: Murray, Barnes, Huerter, Lyles, 1sts from Kings

Kings: Ingram, DD

Hawks deal stays the same, Jonas gets S&T to Wizards for a fake 2nd or something, Bulls get a fake 2nd or something for the DD S&T

This would allow us to trade for Kessler if we want along with signing Missi and we could still stay just a tick under the tax. We could also maybe talk Atlanta into taking Huerter in a swap for Capela and shed a year of that salary, although that would push us into the tax

I can't imagine waiting into September for this. Not good for us, not good for the Pels or BI. Unfortunately other teams know this and it probably decreases our return slightly

Agreed get it done and move on. You can't head into training camp with this situation looming. Rip the bandaid

It wouldn’t be the most popular decision, but we could also be getting Vucevic back from Chicago. Send them Barnes, and they save some money.
