re: How early should we take a Guard/Center
Posted by htran90 on 3/26/26 at 12:06 am to Lsujacket66
Should, with our current picks
2nd
This isn't a singular year thought process. Go into the year and Ruiz still sucks, you need to replace him. McCoy gets hurt again, you are without 2 trustworthy linemen with no viable options to detail '26 and moves up the need tremendously in 27

Wouldn't be an unreasomae 1-2 punch with vele, Johnson, and can't being the big bodied receiving options over the middle.
That's assuming worst case: every pass rusher, downs, and styles are taken.

But we can replace the 30mil version with the 1mil version!
Yal forget the dude didn't play his sophomore year of high school because him/mom were at odds with the high school coach.
Also remember when some poster said Thomas > Murphy?

True - my mistake I figured op was discussing western culture cheese
re: Do you offer Sadiq Bey a max or near max deal this offseason?
Posted by htran90 on 3/23/26 at 10:04 pm to Delusional
I mean his extension was from 2 years ago and just entered into it. That next contract is 3 years away, but it's gonna be more inflated than bey's is what I mean
re: Bored, so...would you trade Herb even-up for Dyson ? Sorry...if

Ultimately - who costs less, that's who I want.

Make no mistake, tm3's numbers are also not updated. He will get his soon - whether or not from us.

Koreans have a lot of cheese in their foods. But India, Japan, China and Vietnam definitely tend to not
re: How the draft could fall perfectly for the Saints
Posted by htran90 on 3/23/26 at 2:28 am to sportsaddit68
Would you trade 8 and 42 for 12 and 20?
Value wise it's
8 - 1400
42 - 480
12 - 1200
20 - 850
Because I sure would

They need cb in the worst way, I can be convinced to move back to give up delane if no pass rusher or styles bring available.

They don't have another wr, their #2 is now with Tennessee.
But there's too many injury concerns with Tyson IMHO

Who's stronger? The pope or the voodoo curse we built the arena on
He's still a player with gravity which allows other guys to get open despite the poor spacing.
He's a menace at the rim and remains fairly efficient. The problem is how/who you replace him with and if not, like you said, the cost you have to pay to keep him

I think styles is closer to Anthony barr.
Could play anywhere

I'd say Etienne is closer to Ingram than he is Kamara.
re: Get ready to lose another convenience of a high trust society - e.g. hotel breakfast
Posted by htran90 on 3/14/26 at 7:28 pm to tiggerthetooth
I know a guy who does this. He says he's gone to the hotels before, kept the key card, and then when he's back in the city since he stays at nicer hotels - would drive there if it's nearby to eat breakfast and then leave. He has the key card on hand soooks like he's a guest.
Personally that's stupid for a 4 dollar breakfast.

Most were coverage sacks. He didn’t impact anyone’s passing game like Young did. We need an edge early.
We do need a true pass rusher early. I think its also fair to say, most guys just don't come in and are productive 10+ sack guys immediately.
Abdul Carter - 4 sacks (3rd overall) - solid year overall with pressures
Mykel Williams - 1 sack (11th overall) - 9 games; IR
Jalon Walker - 5.5 sacks (15th overall) - solid year overall with pressures
Shemar Stewart - 1 sack (17th overall) - 8 games
James Pearce Jr - 10.5 sacks (26th overall) - sociopath
I think part of keeping Cam is also to maintain leadership in the lockerroom now that DD left, Kamara is a real possibility leaving or cut or retiring, and McCoy is oft-injured and can't stay on the field.
Why you spread the cap over 5 years because a 10 mil signing bonus is just 2mil a year, chump change for the time being.
He still played like a top 25 DE last year.
While his pass rushing has dipped, he's still stout vs the run. He played on a 1/6mil deal while he was the most productive edge we had (the best was young).
I think he feels he has 2 years left in the tank, which the way he played last year I think that's true.
I don't think it's unreasonable to offer him a 2/24mil deal. You pay him a 10mil signing bonus, 2mil base and spread the hit over 5 years. Next year's 12mil being nonguaranteed and you give him essentially a year deal that compensates him like a solid starter

I still have a bottle of the og Sriracha that's 10 years old. It's fermented like no other. Tastes so different. That's what quality peppers and fermentation does.
Can you imagine if Tabasco didn't allow the ferment theirs? It would be horrid (I'm a crystal fan)

Up 4 with 32s left... And we're about to lose.
