This was never even thought about from the stance of what had happened.

LSU had ended the season expecting to play some new team and the media forced a rematch. Alabama goes into the game angry and LSU has no way to match that motivation. This is what the constant second chances has done to college football. Everyone knows if the situation was reversed the media was not giving LSU a rematch. The shite was dumb.

Stop giving second chances to teams as it creates the controversy. It should have just been conference champions. Win your conference and you are in. There is no argument. If you can’t win your own conference then what is your argument for being #1?

Now the conference have done something even dumber. They made them too big to properly schedule everyone. Before they started cannablizing each other’s conference they could have done a 6 seed tournament of the best conference champions. It would have been super legit.

Because they don’t care about the actual sport. They want it to be a club and social event to generate money from the elite.

Have you watched the spectacle of these events? Do you want to watch the sport or it be a red carpet?

If you focus on the sport then it becomes affordable. If you focus on the red carpet/club aspect then it is a corporate function and for celebrities.

Not sure how that wasn’t targeting. Not saying I would want Ole Miss to win because of that.

They rotate so poorly and leave absolutely players wide open constantly for 3pt shots.

My initial impressions

I don’t understand why Looney and Missi played together. I think that stalled the offense.

They went a moment where they took Zion, Bey, and Poole out all at the same time. They were the hot offensive players and they were successful throughout the game. I thought this hurt the team late.

I thought Peavy looked great pestering Brunson.

I don’t think Hawkins was a positive in the rotation.

I really didn’t like how the refs completely changed how they were calling the game in the fourth quarter. I felt like the Pels fought through it; however, I saw the refs allowing the game to get unbelievably physical was meant to neutralize the Pels scheme advantages in the game. The Pels were dominating the paint and getting to the line. They did this and it allowed the game to get sloppy and hurt the Pels offense.

Yeah I am not sure I get this lineup as Poole, Zion, and Bey have been the consistent offense.

Also this is crunch time I am not sure Fears is the person to be running the offense. I don’t even think Hawkins should be playing.

So they call Zion on the steal yet he gets mugged when he has the ball and nothing.

Villanova is more guard heavy and would get wrecked by teams with big guys.

He is easily a sixth man or starter with someone else coming off the bench.

I think he is an upgrade over Dort for OKC.

I think Herb can be a solid foundational piece for the Pels. He is locked up for years on a reasonable contract.
