Ole Miss Star Kewan Lacy Gives Blunt Answer About Relationship With Lane Kiffin

Ole Miss star Kewan Lacy didn’t have much to say when asked about his current relationship with former Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin.

With Kiffin set to return to Oxford this weekend as LSU’s head coach, Lacy was asked Tuesday what his current relationship with Kiffin was like.

“Really don’t have a relationship with him,” Lacy said. “Just focused on the season.”

Lacy’s brief response adds another layer to what is already expected to be an emotional atmosphere Saturday when Kiffin faces Ole Miss for the first time since leaving the program for LSU.

The matchup will mark Kiffin’s first trip back to Oxford as the opposing head coach.

These players are not smart enough sometimes to try and take the high road with responses like that. It was a business decision that Lane Kiffin made and the same for TJ Lottery and Prince Umanieliem. Kewan Lacy made a business decision to stay at Ole Miss. In college football now, it’s all about the best business decision you make for yourself. Move on with all the Lane Kiffin hate and move on.
