Grimes- polite but that’s it

Thomas Morestead - One of the nicest guys, had a beer with us at Lucy's.

Dave Wandestedt - met him before the LSU Iowa Saban debacle in Orlando. Cool guy too and this was even before WVU vs Pitt.

Robyn Roberts - She was eating at the same place as us in Pass Christian about 3 years ago. Joked about my LSU hat but I said UNO and Tulane are cool too and then says okay we can be friends lol. Nice woman like Sally Ann is.

I like the story Norm MacDonald told about MP guest hosting on SNL. Apparently his people were encouraging the cast to write material featuring MP's unique sense of humor.

Norm apparently asked WTF they were talking about. "Do you mean sarcasm?" That's not a new form of humor

Dick Van Dyke.

As nice as you would imagine he would be.

Marty Robbins. My kid sat next to him at a movie and he was exceedingly nice to a 6yo with ants in his pants and even shook my hand when we were leaving.

Heather Locklear.. Well after her heyday but my 2yo daughter grabbed her leg at a breakfast place and she picked her up and gave her a big hug.*

*Dad did NOT also get a hug.

Would one not first have to know who he is, in order to “recognize” him?

Shook Bill Clinton's hand in 1999 when he came to Norfolk, VA for E5 & below 'sailor' talk. Seemed cool, big head. Gary Sinise few years ago after Lt Dan Band concert. Awesome guy. Junk Yard Dog after WWF glory days at a national guard armory wrestling event, seemed drunk & was overweight.

I ran into Elvis one time in Vegas. He had really let himself go, but he was friendly enough.

Me and my wife did yoga with Elizabeth Olsen several times while she was in town filming "I Saw the Light".

She would sneak in the back of the class (where me and my wife would always set up), do a sesh, and kinda sneak out.

Me and my wife were often times the only ones that would even notice she was there.

She was super nice.

And super flexible.

Faith Ford. She was building a house in Pineville about 20 years ago. I went by for there work reasons and got to meet her. She was cordial. She let me take a couple of photos with her, but wasn’t really overly friendly.

Faith Ford's sister, Devon O'Day, was my sorority sister at NLU. They're nice people. Devon was Suzanne Ford. She is big in the radio business in Nashville.

I was an extra in The Reaping when it was filmed on LSU's campus and I was 'around' Hillary Swank though I wouldn't say I met her. She seemed to be nice enough while interacting with everyone.

I was very lucky in HS as my best friend's brother was the local rock station DJ and got us back stage for every hard rock/big hair bands that came through. C.C. from poison was probably my favorite and they invited us to watch the filming of a video. The only one really not likable out of the ones we met was Tommy Lee but the rest of the Crue was cool to hang with.

A guy in my unit was dating a girl who grew up next door and was best friends with Sara Newsted in Michigan. She hooked us up to a party invite outside of LA where we met Sara's brother Jason, Slash, and Lemmy. Those dudes could party and were a blast to hang around. I actually ran into Slash many years later at the Carolina Rebellion and thought it was pretty cool he remembered me and the guys I was with were like in awe. At the same Rebellion I also had a few drinks in the VIP area with Aziz Ansari who I had no idea who he was as I do not watch much TV but my friends came up and were like you know everyone. Again I did not know who he was at the time.

Hung out with Dennis Rodman and his crew at a bar San Diego. He might be one of the nicest celebs I have ever met.

A friend back home when got our of the Corps little sister Odessa was dating Matt Damon for a while. She was the personal assistant(IIRC) for Affleck and met both of them when they were in town with her visiting. Neither really had any personality. They were nice though.

Robin Williams was in town shooting the film Patch Adams while I was home on leave and met him at Blockbuster. Talked with him and got his autograph as he signed Flubber for me.

I met Anthony Hopkins as well when he was shooting Hannibal in town and a friend of mine got me on set at the Biltmore Estate. Funniest guy I have met and always up to something they said on the set.

One other that many might not consider a celeb but Ric Flair would come to town every so often and hang at a bar owned by a friend of mine. One of the nicest guys I have ever met and was that way to everyone.

The same friend of mine lived next door to Andie MacDowell(Rose) and have talked to her a lot even though she not a huge star but very nice.

Got to hang out (tailgating/drinking/golf) with him and a group of his friends here in Columbia, Mo. one weekend in like ‘97 or ‘98. Turns out he’s great friends with one of Bobby Douglass’s sons, at the time Bobby’s youngest son Ryan was the starting QB for MU. “Swingers” had just became huge a year or so before, poor guy had to hear “Baby, you’re so money and you don’t even know it” everywhere he turned.
Great guy, great drinker, shitty golfer.
Bobby Douglass was/is legendary, I’m sure Nola still has quite a few tales to tell when he was a Saints QB.

I met Andrew West (Gareth on Walking Dead) and his wife, Amber Stevens West (Greek and 22 Jump Street) at the Carousel Bar in NOLA one Christmas. We hung out and talked to them for a few hours. Very cool down to earth folks. And Amber Stevens West...

Chadwick Boseman might be the coolest, nicest, most earnest human (not just celebrity) I have ever met. That guy was just an absolute ball of radiating positive energy. All those cliches about people who made everyone they meet feel special and light up a room--they all apply to Chadwick.

That is awesome. Please tell me you did Wakanda Forever and crossed your arms across your chest when you left, because you know he wasn't tired of doing that
