I have a buddy who moved to California a few years ago and the dude is constantly posting photos of him and celebrities out on the street.

Only ones I've met are most of the cast from Scream. Went to a con here in Shreveport/Bossier and they were the main guests. It's not like he's a big celebrity but Matthew Lillard was extremely cool. He laughed and joked with everybody, let kids come to the front of the line, just a really nice dude. Made me like him a lot more than I did.

Skeet Ulrich and Jamie Kennedy were also very cool. There was basically nobody in line to see them so I talked to them for quite a while. They were asking for some cool places to go and I should have said I'd take em to a few good bars because they definitely would have went. Kind of regret that.

So basically nobody of note Definitely have met more cool musicians than actors.

Have never met any jerks, but you hear about certain actors that can be very difficult (Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Rosanna Arquette).

Others are mostly business and super focused (Russell Crowe, Owen Wilson, Lakeith Stanfield, Jon Hamm, Jonathan Majors)

Then there are the super friendly and how you would expect ..... (Bill Murray, Ed Helms, Zach G., Zac Efron, Chadwick Boseman, Thor)

I saw David Keith pull a "Do you know who I am?" when getting carded for beer at a gas station. The girl at the counter said "Nope, that's why I need to see your ID." He pitched a fit and stormed out.

Met James Earl Jones at a speaking engagement that he did at Kennesaw State, not too long after the Atlanta Olympics. He was amazing.

I've told the story on here before in a similar thread a few years ago.

I met OJ Simpson when I was a extra on Naked Gun 33 1/3. I only talked to him once, but he was nice.

My brother sat and talked to him and bought him drinks at a bar for quite a while after a concert. Said it was pretty awesome how normal he was and they didn't talk a single thing about acting or anything like that.

Josh Duhamel sat by me at an airport bar and started up a conversation. Super nice guy.

Funny thing is that I had no idea who he was while we were talking. I thought he looked familiar, so I snapped a sneak pic of him and sent it to my wife to ask if he was someone we knew. She got all moist in her panties and informed me who he was.

I got to spend a night having dinner and barhopping with Kirk Herbstreit and his high school buddies the night before the Oregon State game in 2004. Very nice guy. College bars with Kirk was like hanging out with a rockstar.

I would have been in the same position as the gas station clerk.

Seann William Scott- Managed to not call him Stiffler and he was very nice, had a short convo with me about filming Dukes of Hazard and to check it out when it came out.

Adam DeVine - Cool at first but quickly and kind of rudely correctly me when I pronounced his last name Davine instead of Devine

Randy Couture - Very nice and even remembered my name when I saw him again the next day

Tia or Tamera - Not sure which one but she would've rather not been bothered. Not a big deal

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart - Seemed ok, but put out the vibe early on that they wanted to lay low and not be bothered. Were both polite.

T.J Miller - Nice but had douchebag vibes that made you want to end the conversation

Wendell Pierce - Drukenly bumped into him hard at a Pels game. When I realized who it was, I apologized, said that I was a fan. Was aggravated but shook my hand and moved on.

In the 90s I had Thanksgiving dinner with Alan Thicke (Growing Pains dad/Robin Thicke’s dad) in a small rural town in South Carolina. He married my best friend’s cousin who won Miss Universe. He was cool and got along with the good ole boys. They would usually go play golf on a crappy course in town.

It was really bizarre looking across the table and seeing Dr. Jason Seaver.

Did he mention that they celebrate Thanksgiving in October in Canada? According to Robin, he always needed to point out the differences between Canada and here, and doubly so when there was a Canadian on American TV.

The whole country seems to have a pretty gnarly inferiority complex.

By far the nicest and classiest one I have ever met was Keanu Reeves. Hung out with him after his show at HOB when he had his band back in the late 90s, and he was a shy, humble dude that was super nice and generous. He had a line of girls waiting to meet him, and he was graciously talking to each and every one of them. He also never gave any sign of making a move on any of them, even though most were clearly trying with him. Those pics you see of him not touching women when standing next to them are legit.

Dr John and John Goodman (He and DrJ were good friends, so he would be at all of his shows) after a DrJ show. DrJ was just as cool as you would expect him to be. They had a ton of food and drinks, and he shared with everyone backstage. Goodman on the other hand was not the nicest person. He was not mean or rude, but rather just not engaging of friendly. I got the impression he was a sad person inside that put on a front of happiness. I have no idea if this is at all true, but it was the impression and vibe that he gave off. It wasn't just me he was like that to; he was like that with everyone the entire night. He very well could just be super shy.

I have met quite a few others during this same time period (I used to work in the music industry), but these two moments stand out the most to me. Goodman and Reeves are two of my favorite celebrity figures, and these moments were striking enough to stick with me all these years later. I still have a ton of respect for both of them.

Ha! This reminded me of when I met Vanilla Ice. He was super nice until my buddy and I asked him to pose old school ice with us. He was trying to reinvent himself with the KORN sound, and he was hesitant to do it. We joked around with him long enough until we finally broke him down and he obliged. Dude was a good sport and genuinely a nice guy. I wish I still had this photo, but all of my photos and signed stuff from this time period were washed away by Katrina. It sucks, because I had a folder stacked with all of these people I got to meet.

Henry Winkler is easily the nicest person I have ever met.

That guy seems genuinely happy to meet everyone as if he is still amazed by his fame.
