I'm intrigued to know if any Guardians stick around in the MCU going forward. Quil and Gamora perhaps. If not them, I could see Rocket hanging around in some capacity.
They are ageing out to a degree. Pratt's 43 this year and, while not old, may be too old to play Star-Lord. Saldana is a little older and Hollywood is rarely kind to "women of a certain age." Obviously, age isn't an issue for either Vin Diesel or Cooper. Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff are mid-30s and would have a few movies left if they wanted to continue, but, frankly, Volume 3 is likely "it" for the current GotG lineup and, frankly, it should be. I mean, shouldn't it be?

It's the only good thing going in the MCU, but i still hope this is the last one. Make three good ones and get out. The Guardians participating in what was really boring and pointless endgame movies was bad.

The only problem I had with 2 was the music score was sub-par. Volume 1 set an extremely high bar. The songs weren't just good, they fit perfectly into the scenes they were in. Volume 2 seemed more like they just threw in random songs.

This needs a Toy Story 3 type ending. Fantastic trilogy and franchise. Looks like Cosmo gets some screen time in this one

Such a bad arse in the comics they fricked his character for laughs.
Sounds familiar.

Quantumania is supposed to push the MCU story forward substantially. I'm looking forward to this phase immensely.
That would great. Potentially.

Also Bautista wants more serious roles
Yeah he's very serious about expanding his roles, being taken seriously as an actor, and not being typecast. Poor guy though, he's openly lobbying to be cast in a rom-com as one of the romantic leads, but no one will offer him that kind of role -- and he's wondering if he's not good looking enough.

Oh, and regarding the music in the trailer, I found this great performance of that song by Brian May. We all knew he could sing, but this is probably the best singing performance I've ever heard from him:
The Brian May Band - Since You've Been Gone

Didn't Bautista come out saying he was done playing Drax after this one due to how hard it was to keep that physique at his age?
The Rock needs to get him on that roid diet of his.

So an ending that wraps up everything perfectly and then two more movies for no reason.

They definitely saved some really great villains (High Evolutionary, Kang) for this run.
Not sure if that's going to save the MCU but it gives me a bit of hope at least.
I have to admit I was a bit worried about how they would write Kang after Loki, but it's clear that Sylvie killed the "nice" Kang and the one in Quantumania is WAY closer to the comic version. He's a very legit Avengers-level threat in the comics.

This is piss poor analysis. Volume 1 has more hits but Volume 2 def fits the movie better. They had much better usage despite most of them not being as popular as Volume 1’s songs.

IMO 2 was definitely not as good as 1. But I enjoyed both though.
My biggest gripe with 2 was that it felt like it was way too long.

He's just sour the studio neutered Drax the Destroyer to become Drax the Comedian

Also not sure about everyone else, but I am just not pumped for this phase of the MCU. It may be I watch these when then come out on Disney+.
I ran out of steam after Endgame. I haven't gotten around to watching any of the movies/shows after that. Some of them look interesting and I feel like I will pick it up eventually but Endgame just felt like a good ... Endgame.
