I’m in. Looks good. I’m not sure Gunn should run a whole universe but he can make some darn good franchises.

If they die they can bring in a nearly identical ones from a parallel universe.

He was barely in the trailer. That's always a tell-tale sign. He'll probably die in the first 35 mins of the film.

Second one was pretty awesome, so that's a tall ask.

Yes.

But they’ll be female.

I think Chris Pratt is the type to be in a franchise as long as they’ll have him

He’s popular and willing to stick around. You don’t kill those guys off.

Maybe he gets shot on the couch like in Pulp Fiction.

Did you watch the same sequel as the rest of us? Vol 2 was awesome.

Didn't Bautista come out saying he was done playing Drax after this one due to how hard it was to keep that physique at his age?

Also not sure about everyone else, but I am just not pumped for this phase of the MCU. It may be I watch these when then come out on Disney+.

He did. Most assume this is the end for Drax. Potentially others on the Guardians team.

Quantumania is supposed to push the MCU story forward substantially. I'm looking forward to this phase immensely.

im gonna be sad after this one - I know i will be. the Yondu death in Vol 2 hit me hard. reminded me a lot of my Dad and his failing health.

silly to draw from a comic movie like that, but it did

Just can’t get into these comic movies anymore. Everything going to multiverses and time travel. Just lazy writing so they can continue characters forever. There’s no finality to anything. Just feels like cheating.

That's a part of it, but he also disliked what they did with his character and I agree. He's Drax the Destroyer and he's become comic relief. Such a bad arse in the comics they fricked his character for laughs.

Also Bautista wants more serious roles

From the trailer, I fully expect Drax to die in this. Not to mention Batista has already come out and stated he's ready to move on from Drax into other roles.

I'm intrigued to know if any Guardians stick around in the MCU going forward. Quil and Gamora perhaps. If not them, I could see Rocket hanging around in some capacity.
