The fact that she had a gaggle of writers and still couldn't be funny even if there was a joke in there, she managed to bury it with her demeanor and delivery.

And I've only seen about 5 minutes of her on YouTube clips and her atrocious resume.

This woke era has produced a sammich line of unfunny humorless unattractive female slobs who would otherwise be unemployed. Their union leader, Amy Schumer. Such a sad era for comedy. And Bert sucks too.

I just don’t get this guy. Is it me? I have never heard one funny thing from him. Not one.

I honestly struggle to find any stand up comedians funny.

I'd imagine their job is nearly impossible to succeed in with people's emotional trigger so fragile. Don't take much to get cancelled.

The Original Kings of Comedy.

It was all the rage in 2000. "Dude you gotta watch the Kings of Comedy. its fricking hilarious."

I watched it, and didn't laugh once.

Almost all female comedians.

It's funny you say that, yesterday I was flipping through my guide and put on Sarah Silverman special to see how long it took her to get sexual. It was the opening joke. And it was baaaaaaad. I listened to one more thing out of her mouth before I had to change the channel.

South Park absolutely nailed the female comedian thing.

Side note: I assume I am the only person in the world that thinks Carrot Top is funny. Sure, it's a different vibe than your typical "stand up comedian," but that MFer cracks me up with the stupid shite he says and does.

If you can't laugh at Bernie Mac, I don't know what to tell you man.

For me, it's John Mulaney. He's not terrible but everybody swears he's the funniest comedian in the business. So yeah, he's not nearly as funny as he's hyped up to be.

Some standup comedians are not that great while doing standup but are otherwise really funny as guests or hosts on podcasts and gained fame that way.

Bert and Theo I think are both good on podcasts but terrible at standup.

The one comedian who I think is terrible at standup but is hyped up as being great is Chris Rock. His delivery is very odd and he repeats himself constantly to try to get his timing right. It's annoying to listen to. I think the material is good, but he's not that good at delivering it.

It's only gotten worse as he's aged. His recent Netflix special was unwatchable.

Nailed it. Theo is good on that Storytellers show but like Bert, grating and horrible timing in pure stand-up.

Exhibit 1, she's awful. As you point out, she uses sex as a crutch and it's cringe. Oh, look, a woman talking about blow jobs hahahahahahaha!!!! She is terrible.

I've tried multiple times to watch Theo Vonn and could never finish

I’m a huge Theo Vonn fan and I actually agree. I don’t really love his standup. He’s at his best when hosting guests on his podcast IMO.

I’ll counter that with a dude I think doesn’t get enough love. Pete Holmes.
His standup is pretty solid, similar to Nate Bargatzy in that he’s funny while being pretty clean. And his HBO show, Crashing, is a very well done peek into the entry level comic lifestyle.
