And doesn’t apply to us as these are open roster spots not currently filled by anyone.

What about Pavia?
What about all the 5th years next year?
Yep
Doesn't hold water
This cat's not getting back in the bag, IMO

Louisiana Supreme Court instructed court should not interfere with internal affairs of a private association unless it’s proceedings have not been conducted fairly and honestly where it’s conduct is fraudulent beyond it.
Isn't this the whole reason for the TRO's?

The SEC is not an agent or functionality of the NCAA. And they are arguing that they did not coordinate or interact with the NCAA. They are saying that SEC is independent from the NCAA.
A rose by any other name. It has been obvious for quite a while that the Big 10 and SEC conferences especially know that the NCAA in courts are persona non grata. Thus, they are TRYING to acquire the old days power of the NCAA but don't want to be associated with them in any way. Like I said, a rose by any other name. Good luck with that argument.

The two Ole Miss transfers to LSU are depth/rotation guys.
Some younger QB at Ole Miss legit got supplanted for the starting job because an Ole Miss judge ruled for Chsmbliss.
Sankey can shove it.

It's funny that they're giving their PR director Dellenger their entire losing court argument to share publicly ahead of time. It's like waving the biggest white flag imaginable.

How do you say your rule applies to every class except for that class, and then justify your position by saying muh high school?
Exactly. Talking out of both sides of his mouth. The NCAA took this oppurtunity away from the 2022 class and here this dumbass is talking about taking away oppurtunities. Hey, Greg, what if we don't have to take away anyone's oppurtunity?

If they were confident in their arguments, they wouldn't feel the need to release them the day before the hearing.

So to be fair to the 26 class we have to be unfair to the 22 class? Got it

Just pulled the docket.
The legal basis is constraint of trade, basically, antitrust. Also LUTPA.
Did not realize Cox, Cox and Filo was on this.
Today’s filings show on the docket, but images are not available yet.

This narrative about depth pieces need to change. Harris will start… he was all SEC last season. Better than anyone we have starting now. We have Big Dom starting now (which I hope he grew a ton and want him to do well), c’mon man.

What does all of that mean

Means Sankey and the SEC are about to suck a big ol space wiener tomorrow.

But if you apply it to the Pavia and Chambliss cases then I can understand. Is Sankey demented?

everything from slinky and SEC seems very reactionary. no forward thinking. no getting out in front of shite. make a terrible rule. let things happen. react.

So it will take a couple weeks as soon as those suits in Texas and other states go through. Then He will be punished by his own conference because every single player that participated in a mini-camp by definition is a pro. They had to sign a waiver or receive some sort of benefit since that happened before 5 for 5.
He is singling out Louisiana and will be crushed.
Dude is pissed about 1 player. That’s it.
They are all bitchjbg about the TE. and The basketball player.

I’m surprised at the SEC’s lame argument within their brief, but when the facts and fairness aren’t on your side, it’s hard to craft anything legit. My money is on the 5th year players in the LA PI suiting up in purple and gold this year, regardless of whether the SEC or NCAA appeal the decision handed down tomorrow.
