If we got wade, you can bet womens basketball had to give funds for that. Mulkey prob wont be here more than another year and we are probably pulling funds from her program to help wade
I seriously doubt they told her that.

I mean if he had a CF that could catch a simple fly ball
re: Just insane that it's likely that Lane, Jay, Wade gonna all be at LSU at the same time..

anyone who thinks jay would leave lsu isnt listening to the dude talk . hes always been extremely honored to be the lsu coach and he sees us as the best program in the country. he loves it here
As long as Verge fixes baseball's revenue share Jay will be fine.
We need to get our NIL for baseball increased if you want a chance of that happening.

I would feel a lot better about Kim returning if we could get some new assistants announced soon.
I mean she's kind of busy at the moment.

I've only heard Moscona saying that.
Enough said

from a team that was supposed tk be the mist talented Jay Johnson has ever coached.
Who said that?
They haven't lost a weekend series all year and have a series win over a top 10 team. Not that hard to understand at all really.

I'd much rather supplement with guys we've already been looking at from JUCO than dip back into the portal for borderline guys. Especially with in-state kids.
After this season, couldn't agree more.
Who thought this was a good idea?

What if the boosters aren't willing to pay the amount needed to fire McMahon and hire a new coach and pay for a roster unless they get Wade?
Pretty sure that's exactly the case.
re: If baseball season trends the way it appears to be going, LSU could very well end up

Haven't you already given up on this team?
He already gave up on next years team too.

(3) Not talked about much but I think the catchers are both a defensive liability to this point. I like both of them a lot but honestly their D is wanting.
This is has been my biggest disappointment so far. There have been quite a few wild pitches that should have been blocked.

Isn’t that what Paul did his last few years here?
Yes and it's how we ended up having too many players that didn't belong on a SEC roster.

And he might be currently committed to South Carolina.
He should be easy to pull away from there

Personally I’d let Ruckert start a few games and just see if he can hit any. Seems like Jay is playing the freshman a little more this season, maybe to try and prevent them from going in the portal like last years did.
re: What makes Curiel a better prospect than Brown?

There was some sort of change in the stats industry this offseason where a company went bankrupt or something. It has affected a lot of schools.
The NCAA partnered with a company called Genius Sports to develop stat programs for all their sports. They've had football and basketball in use for several years now and were supposed to have all the other sports done by now. Because of that the NCAA didn't renew the contract with the company they had used for years and that expired after last season. So everyone is having to do all kinds of workarounds to use the old stats program this year until the new one is ready for next season.

That's weird
I just googled NCAA stats archive and it brought be to this page. They have all kinds of splits you can look at.

Found this on the NCAA website.
.404 RHP, .247 LHP
Interestingly, looking at this year it's the exact reverse.

I remember seeing the splits somewhere last year and it was a significant gap between his hitting against LHP/RHP

Not sure when it became controversial to say that LSU should be a top 16 seed and at least hot a regional every single season
Basing the success/failure of a season on that one single metric is.
