We are just lacking some depth

I don’t think we lack depth on offense at all. Yes, I know what Lane said about the o-line. But Thompkins, Devin Harper, Satterwhite and Darrin Strey have starting experience/playing time logged at other big time programs. They aren’t even starting here. That’s good depth. That doesn’t even include Solomon Thomas, who we are all waiting on to break through.

At edge, there are a lot of competitive, talented young players behind the top two. Not a lot of proven production, but lots of talent and someone will flash. We have players.

I think boundary corner is the one position we truly lack real depth at. Havon Finney is a talented player but we haven’t seen it. This is the one position I’d be worried about if one of the top two starters went down.

It don’t matter. Take the ball, kick it, whatever.

It’s entirely plausible that we do a 180 reverse on this shitty 2025/26 athletic year and football makes the playoffs, basketball makes the tournament and baseball goes to Omaha.

We’ve had big problems with mobile QBs in the recent past

Agreed, but I think more athletic edges with upgrades at LB and especially safety will go a long way towards alleviating this issue.

I believe it when I see it. He is hurt, limited movement.

I apologize to chicken if I linked something I shouldn't have, but I read actually two online practice reports before posting this that said he was moving without noticeable pain or limitations.

Soooo....
There's been a lot of innuendo around here the last few days about Lamar, and for those of you who saw the erroneous thread this morning that got whacked, here is your feel-good back
I wish we knew what “some time” meant. A week or two wouldnt be a huge deal.
Notice who he’s celebrating with in that picture
Kige was way ahead of his time with all these average Joes and barstool experts becoming beat reporters and analysts on youtube.

4-5 losses in a year? This isn't LSU

So arrogant for a team that hasn't won jack dick in 21 years

I haven’t seen a single thing from yesterday, but I did see Hunt Palmer report Winnie Watkins was back at practice Friday. So that’s good.
Joe Burrow vs. Mckorkle Jones.

Come on.

No, seriously. Come on.

TLDR; 10-2, Losses to Ole Miss & Texas

10-2 gets us into the playoff, but goddamn I really really don't want to lose to Ole Miss.

Tua isnt a bust. He is the starting QB for the Falcons. Miami didnt get fricked by Tua, they got fricked by not protecting him and trying to change their entire offensive philosophy every season. They were trying to pass the ball with Tyreek and Waddle but had no pass blocking. Then when they finally got pass blockers they draft Achane ans try to run some gimmicky offense. I think bringing in Tyreek was the real problem. They needed a decent receiver with size and pay for lineman.

I’m a Dolphins fan and have been since my childhood, I watch every game. I supported Tua vehemently until last season.

He was absolutely unwatchable. Totally lost in the pocket, if the first read was covered it would end in a sack or INT. The o-line was actually somewhat decent last year and pass pro was not as bad as you’re making it out to be.

They had to eat the shite sammich that was his cap hit and get him off the team. He was no longer an option because of how piss poor he played.

They’re finally doing a rebuild the right way, and after his dead cap number is off the books they’re in fantastic shape going forward.
Literally every other prognostication source I’ve seen whether it be a magazine, online, YouTube folks, whatever, have had us in the 8-10 range. This is disappointing.

Tyrann Mathieu vs Arkansas 2011

As soon as it happened, everyone knew that was ballgame.
