re: Coach O interview on Pardon My Take

The person that told me firsthand was in the meeting. It wouldn’t even be someone who’d go to bat for Frank.

quote:This is twisted, I could see how people would this that. Frank was the one to keep it together.
Frank almost tanked the top end of the class (Brown, Anderson, others) purely out of spite.
Lane played the game, tried to get Elijah Robinson on staff and acted like it was done. The agents caught wind of it, and turned the tables to get more money and did so successfully during that meeting. Frank was the one who made Lamar and Big Rich feel comfortable again with Lane and LSU.

MLB postseason is cold.
Milam Draft: frickedddd
LSU 2027: Stackeddd

He hinted that he helped lock in Lamar Brown and Richard Anderson this year
You may not have read what I did and am very confident this will work for others.
Year 1, I stayed on top of it with MSM Turf. Year 2, I maybe sprayed once.
After all of this, the mature patches were completely gone. You’re left with small immature plants, easy to pull the taproot completely out by hand. They’re not mature enough to have an extensive root system.
I literally had VBW all over my Bermuda lawn, and this eradicated nearly 99% of it by year 3. I left out that I stay on top of my pre-emergent, but it’s not that effective against VBW anyway. So the little VBW I do have are newly germinated.

You’re going great, I’m not for intermittent fasting, but if it works for you then keep at it. Great job cutting down on alcohol. People don’t realize how many calories they drink. For example, switching from 2% milk to skim, if you drink a half gallon a week, will save you 15,000 calories in a year. That’s like completely fasting one day every other month. Drink diet sodas instead of regular, etc.
1 - Your mind is telling you to snack. Don’t let your mind control your body. Sounds silly, but say no and after a few weeks, your mind will stop telling you to snack as much. After a few months, the habit is gone.
2A - Eat more filling foods. My go to is potatoes with my protein. Potatoes are one of the most filling foods per calorie. Sweet potatoes are better. Apples are good too.
2B - Stop eating foods that are least filling per calorie. Mayonnaise and ranch taste so good, but if you can drop them that’s a big calorie savings. Start with low sugar BBQ sauce, syrup, etc. Ketchup, sriracha, hot sauce, soy sauce are great low calorie options. Check the labels. Salads can trick you. You don’t get full, and all that ranch is a ton of calories, and you get hungry and want to snack 2 hours later.

The issue for me I think is snacking and having those cravings. That's what I can't seem to get under control.

it’s coming right back from the roots left behind. And if you don’t throw away what you pull, you’re spreading it.

Your questions have been answered already, but just wanted to add that this is definitely a winnable battle. I had VBW bad when I first moved in and 99% eradicated it in 2 years.
Year 1, I stayed on top of it with MSM Turf. Year 2, I may have had to treat it once with MSM Turf, but now I just pull the root out by hand (actually enjoyable). Do a 3 minute walk around the lawn before mowing, and pull what you see. Or, you can easily check your yard first thing in the morning, the mature plants will have little white flowers helping you find them.

Yeah, and he’s done a fine job at A&M this year doing more with less. Yeskie is boom or bust, someone like Kelly will get the most out of what you got, just may not turn a few pitchers into Elite prospects like Yeskie has shown.
Ruckert admitted the game sped up on him early in the season, which is understandable for a freshman. What went wrong last night? The speed of that play. He’ll learn from it just like he did with the routine plays.
quote:Different bodies, and Ruckert will never sniff a 25 HR season like Jake was on pace for. But don’t discount Jack’s pop, he has a knack for barreling up the ball, just needs to figure out how to hit line drives up the middle instead of pulling everything.
Ruckert does not have the pop in his bat that Jake did as a freshman

I like Yeskie, but man did he fail at development this year. Returning our starting rotation necessitates development, especially when Jay realizes prioritizing 50/50 portal guys over the current roster isn’t the answer.
Tough call to make for Jay, do you keep Yeskie who utterly failed at development this year, or go get someone like Jason Kelly from A&M who you know what you’re going to get.

quote:Can you really blame him? What you want him to say, they got snubbed out of the Championship game, but would have lost to OU anyway? He didn’t have a vote on the AP Poll that ranked USC as #1 over LSU.
LSU still has bad blood with that guy for promoting the idea that USC was somehow a dual champion in 2003
quote:If Evans is on, and LSU limits errors (on the base path too), LSU wins.
Auburn better be scared. They stepping into a honey bees nest with this LSU team now.
Hopefully the team got out all of their weird plays last night:
- Dropped 3rd strike, allowed an unearned run from 2nd.
- Milam error.
- Braun & Pearson base running errors.
This team is notorious for finding the most ridiculous ways to lose. Probably going to step on the wrong base at first tonight
They raises my price about a year ago without notifying me. I called, they apologized, gave me 6 more months on the original price promo, and a $100 VISA gift card. Wasn’t expecting that
$100/mo seems like a lot. But putting it into perspective helps rationalize it. It’s worth much more than that, especially if you work from home.
Still wouldn’t preclude me from switching if something comparable saved me $25/mo.

quote:We have this. Used to be $65/mo to start. Have larger house, so got a few extenders (WiFi doesn’t pass through brick very well) so that adds $10. Initial promo ran up, so $65 bumped to $80 and now $90, plus the $10 extenders charge. It’s $100/mo now
AT&T Fiber is solid although they sell you on the discounted rates up front
Great internet though, never have issues. We also don’t have the lowest tier, don’t remember the specifics.
quote:I have both Bermuda and Centipede. Bermuda looks better, is better for sports and activities, and recovers faster.
It blows my mind that people voluntarily have Bermuda lawns.
But if you don’t have the time or find enjoyment in maintaining it, I could 100% see why you think this way.
Depends on the size of your lawn and how often you can mow to keep up with it. Should mow every other day, but if we’re being reel, it will probably be every third day. Longer you wait, harder it is to cut.
Anything over 2,000 sq ft will eventually become a chore mowing every 3 days, especially as it warms up.
