I'm not sure LSU will have a lawyer present. They are not either plaintiff or defendant.
The plaintiff athlete's attorney will have to show that the threat of such retroactive punishment from the SEC holds the potential to chill the willingness of a school to roster these players.
I personally think the least likely ruling would be for the judge to rule the players eligible without entering a permanent injunction against the SEC against the punishments. However, without such a permanent injunction, I am not comfortable with LSU putting them on the roster--the cost to the school becomes too high (and proves Wright's lawyer right).
Just my limited opinion.

Anybody got the whole brief? What Tulane law firm filed it, I have a suspect and a 12 million dollar case against them they are anxious to settle. This would give me an excuse to tell them to FO. (Don’t give me shite, my portion of any fee is basically nothing)

And the SEC is a member of the NCAA and to say they are not is complete utter BS. And if they some how win with this shitty brief, please tell me other rant lawyers how the SEC can defend a civil lawsuit by the player plaintiffs with RICO and tortious/intentional interference with contract claims?
