They won’t ever compete unless they play internationally. US players need to be playing overseas as part of those professional teams. MLS isn’t enough.
You can see it in this game against an aging Belgium team.
If it wasn’t for us both them and France would be speaking German. Screw them

Is he angry or does he just have more time given no postseason interference?

This and we know he was shortchanged by Fat Scott. Verge added more in for both baseball and WBB.

He better since he’s getting paid millions. He makes more money in one year than most people make in their entire lifetime.

I guess we know what you do. Sit at home and live with your parents still. What the hell?

The Alumni team had taken a 3-2 lead in the top of the eighth inning on a two-run double by first baseman Jeff Leaumont. LSU collected 14 hits in the contest, including a 3-for-3 outing by designated hitter Eric Wiethorn. Right-hander Jake Tompkins was credited with the victory for LSU, as he worked the final two innings, surrendering two runs on four hits with no walks and two strikeouts. Tompkins fanned second baseman Mike Fontenot with a runner at first base to end the game.

Most players contracts still in pro ball likely prohibit it Last thing you want is a player getting hurt

Mike Fontenot was not out of pro ball in 2002

Honestly I think we do have an Aaron Donald on our hands… All time sack leader in Georgia history, played both ways in HS as a RB… not bad for a 4 star…

He supposedly blew up every Olinmen he faced. Not sure if he faced Seaton.

Maybe it’s because J Mitch is a highly regarded, very well spoken, outfielder that played for LSU and was very fast. He also happened to be black. I think his post is pretty innocent and you might be reaching a bit here.

This kid is about an inch or so shorter than Curiel, but the same weight, bats and THROWS left like Curiel (Mitchell threw right), is a contact hitter like Curiel (MLB questioned the power like Curiel), plays the same position and is a little faster than Curiel who was faster than Mitchell coming out of high school, is great with the media for his age like Curiel, and is a highly rated high school baseball player like Curiel.
Both him and Curiel are minorities.
Mitchell weighted more than this kid coming out and played football.
This kid didn’t play football in high schoolfrom what I can find.
I mean he has FAR FAR more comps to Derek than Mitchell.

He saw a fast, black guy and immediately went to Mitchell. Why not Leon Landry? Landry played centerfield was fast as hell and a damn good ball player. He did it because Mitchell is black and on that podcast and SEC Network. That’s why he did it.

Jared Mitchell played WR for LSU.

Again, he compared a black kid in high school to Mitchell when Derek Curiel played the same position, bats left handed and was FASTER than Mitchell coming out of high school.
He compared him to Mitchell for only 1 reason. He never looked at Curiel’s stats.
quote:

He reminds me of jared mitchell...

Why? Why not Derek Curiel who had a faster 60 than Mitchell in High School by .1.
This kid is faster than both…
I would trade Curiel coming back for one season then getting this kid for three. But hey, that’s just me.

What i said was his first 2 starts were average.

In the Minors or AA?
I thought his first start in AA?
In his first two games at Portland he pitched nine innings gave up one run on a home run. The first game was four innings with one run. The second one was five innings with no hit and no runs obviously.
I say he started AA very well.
Would you agree?

Anthony Eyanson is good at baseball

A little over year ago, Eyanson started his final college season slowly at Louisiana State after transferring from UC San Diego. However, as the season progressed, he played a key role in helping the Tigers win the 2025 national championship. Now, in his first taste of pro ball between High-A Greenville and Double-A, he ranks fourth in Boston's system with 64 strikeouts and would lead in ERA (1.07) and opponent batting average (.149) if he had enough requisite innings to qualify. “Sometimes I’m out there throwing warmup pitches and think to myself, 'I’ve come a long way for a guy who grew up wanting to play football,'" Eyanson said. "It’s fun to be able to go back into my camera roll and go through memories of LSU, Lakewood High School or Lakewood Little League and see how far I’ve come.”

That isn’t Galveston or anywhere north of Port Lavaca. That I know.

Wrong. Abernathy was Macklin's high school coach. Dale added him to the staff the swame year he signd Macklin. The NCAA later outlawed this practice, but its probably legal again under today's rules.

I think there were 2 from Louisville area he “signed”.

He was selected basically only because LSU wanted him to deliver the new fees and ticket price increases to the patrons. He also ushered in the "extract every nickel from the patron without delivering any additional consumer surplus" era. You used to park there for years? Now you pay for it and you have to show up the day before each game to buy a non exclusive pass.
this

Not quite sure of the point you're trying to make. Perhaps try again in Engrish?

There were checks being cashed that were picked up on Fridays taken straight to the bank where the only work was driving in a truck and picking up the checks.

I was in track and appreciate the sport, but Nick brought in more money in one year at LSU than Pat probably did in his entire track coaching career. Honestly, nobody cried tears when Pat left.

Not a SINGLE track program in NCAA history has ever “made money”. Going back to Pre and everyone that has ever ran in Track Town. I just completely disagree with this opinion with Nick and Pat. The GOAT McDonnell at Arky lost a lot more money than he brought in. It is about titles. There are really only 2 revenue sports and it’s because of TV revenue.
LSU WBB has lost roughly 16 million the last couple seasons but people would die if Mulkey left…
Pat, Mulkey and McDonnell are all examples of coaches losing a ton of money at their respective universities but people cared about them because of how great they are/were.
