College Football Hall of Fame coach Nick Saban says LSU, not Alabama, was the easiest program to recruit players to during his college football career.

Saban said in a Friday appearance on ESPN's Pat McAfee Show he learned while working with Bill Belichick on the Cleveland Browns' coaching staff in the '90s Louisiana produced the most NFL players per capita of any U.S. state.

"That's the reason I took the job," Saban said about joining LSU as head coach ahead of the 2000 season.

Saban continued, "Let me tell you what— it was right. It was 15 to 18 really, really good football players that you could get out of Louisiana every year, and you've got a good enough national reputation to recruit some really good players from other places.

"That was about the easiest place I ever had to recruit to."

re: Unbreakable SEC Records

I keep going back to this one because this is what I know....

Former LSU Tigers running back Kevin Faulk holds the all-time Southeastern Conference (SEC) record for career all-purpose yards with 6,833 yards, which he accumulated from 1995 to 1998.

I just don't see a player staying at a school long enough and getting enough touches to ever break this record. Not saying there aren't players that could do it. I just don't think that they will be given the oppurtunity.
Yall did this same thing when Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow transferred to LSU.

What terrible times for the NCAA when you need a law degree to understand who is on your roster

I know who the lawyers are on all of the boards now because of this.

Any great historical games of significance?

As an LSU fan, I find this to be both historical and significant....

We didnt ask.

We are tired of the LSU-Ole Miss dynamic.

I don't even visit this board half as much as I used only because of this. Its so fricking dumb. Yeah it was fun for a couple days or weeks. But, all of this shite still going on is stupid.

Are they gonna wear bulletproof vests on stage?
I was actually in an active slow redraft yesterday. Took Jayden Higgins in like the tenth round. Before it got back to me, the news broke that he tore his ACL.

I don’t think this is true, but fairly confident that Mark May blew 5 guys at Pitt.

He only blows the number 1 team in the polls. Biggest front runner there was on TV at that time.
