According to a report Tuesday from CBS Sports, LSU proactively recruited multiple NFL hopefuls to sue the NCAA in hopes of winning the right to return to college football if and when they were cut in training camp.

LSU Staff to UDFA - “Hey if you get cut and are relegated to a practice squad, we’d like you to consider coming to play at LSU. If this is of interest, let’s keep in touch, but be prepared to have to sue the NCAA.”

CBS: “OMGZ”

They can't sue for for eligibility next year if they don't make the NFL because they already know they have a 5th year. That's not the case with the 2022 grads so it is a baseless argument. This is a one year issue that goes away next year. They should just leave it alone as it goes away after this season. Done.

Ok boomer.

1) you can't go pro and come back.

These young men went pro the first time they got a paid for NIL.

2) It could and probabaly will ruin some lockerroom chemistry.

bullshite. Starting positions have never been guaranteed. Everyone is replaceable and everyone knows it. It has always been this way at every level. Winning fixes everything. Those who are disgruntled will enter the portal next chance they get. Nothing new here.

Good, I want a coach that is proactive and ruthless. Better than Burger King man playing golf all the time.

You disavowed LSU after Kiffin was hired, so why are you still posting about LSU 8 mos later?

I probably don't need to point this out but, don't trust the main stream media,.....at all. CBS has been known to embellish the facts to tell a story,....that shapes a desired narrative.

Has anyone EVER heard of "Football Scoop?" Oh wait, is that the sports equivalent of the National Enquirer?"

Reported by a Texas Alumni who literally has a player on their roster who was in Browns minicamp. The irony is wild.

it's not like this will now be a yearly thing.

My fear is the courts will grant these guys eligibility and then next year some homer judge will use this years rulings as precedent thatyou CAN go pro and come back if you get cut. I think right now its intended to be a 1 year thing but IDK if that is actually going to be the case.

US: Hey................ you wanna come play again?

THEM: Yeah that sound pretty fun, and I'll make more money.

US: Okay, everyone else just sues the NCAA and they wuss out and say okay.

THEM: Sweet, I'll knock that out and be there in a few days.

US: Okay see you then

The mental gymnastics here to try and explain why even if true, this is a bad thing or against some rule, considering that people opposing this have been VERY clear that they are/were no longer college players and this is LSU bringing in pros with no ties to college anymore.

Care to comment on all the despicable shite your trash arse school has done?

I’ve never even thought of going to a Michigan website.
You’re pretty pathetic though so I get your need for attention.
