We relocated to central MO due to job transfer. Stayed about 6 years, and returned when WFH was extended during COVID. We made a lot of friends there, the scenery was beautiful, but we missed family and the people in South Louisiana. The first time I went to the grocery store after moving back, I was reminded how warm strangers are to each other here, and how much I missed that.

Dave wrote this about grieving the loss of his mother and Taylor Hawkins. I was widowed a few months after it was released. The whole album makes me cry.

I get that coaches say stuff and I rarely take it seriously, but this was a crappy take. You know he would have loved to see Kiffin suspended.

Actually, I like hearing from the staff. Lane already does the PC on Monday, post game pressers and has started with an update on Sundays. SEC conference call is on Wednesday. We’re not going to learn anything more if he’s on the stage for the whole show.

There’s nothing to be gained by judging someone’s grief. It’s incredibly complex and there’s often dissociation. I don’t agree with the stance they’ve taken, but I’m not going to question their pain.

I was scheduled to take a solo vacation in May, but a friend found out and she wants to go, too. I still intend to take a solo trip sometime next year.

I don’t think these players are motivated by revenge; it’s their unhinged fan base and incompetent media. They’re motivated by a rivalry game and trying to stay undefeated. I don’t expect Trinidad to do anything heroic because he wants to be healthy for the draft. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him with a minor injury at some point that will keep him benched. I know he’s a competitor, but what kind of man allows a narrative that tonsillitis cost him a year?
