re: What is today's "prototypical" QB?

I wish some of the older QB's got to play in the style of offenses they have today. Watching Elway run Q Power would have been sweet.

Then there's guys
Josh Cribbs
Senaca Wallace
Akili Smith
Vince Young

Would have been sweeeeeeeeet
In terms of money yeah he lost out, but he couldn't have landed in a better situation. The other two QB's on the roster currently are Tua and Zach Wilson. I don't see how Tua is still trying to play in the NFL, and Zach Wilson is not the most capable.

Ewers will get a shot at some point, and their offensive weapons are good enough to make any QB who doesn't turn the ball over look really really good.
They don’t care about anything. Social media has severely wrecked these kids. Everything is ……… whatever
I hope we did. It just shows they were scared and ran away.

I was looking at youth lacrosse drills and came across a kid named Buxtyn.

This has to stop........

re: NFL Draft: Rounds 4 to 7 Today

Cowboys and Saints take oline…….. these are the most adult picks they’ve made in a long long time.
I'm under the impression that God is the creator of all. If he can make blue whales, Venus fly traps, and little mites that live in your hair follicles. Then, there's got to be something else out there that is also considered life.
I just don't understand the whole take a QB in the first round idea. Unless there's a serious franchise starter. A Joe Burrow type player. Most teams would do better building up their roster and finding a serviceable QB later in the draft. I'm not saying they'll all be Brock Purdy, but when you're a team consistently picking in the top 10 it's b/c your roster overall has issues. Build your OL, DL, and secondary up. The Eagles are the model for this day and age of football. Taking Hurts 53rd overall, and running an offense that fits his skill set that also fits the design of the team.
Stonewall doesn't even have a grocery store, and it's a dry parish. Everything costs double what it's worth.
It would be crazy if a team actually traded a recruit.... Give us your QB, 200,000.00, and an OL from your next recruiting class.

I know a lot of high schoolers that don't know exactly what they want to do in college. They go to BPCC and take all the intro Englishes and Maths. Then they transfer to Tech ro Northwestern after they know what field they want to major in. Saves the parents serious money.

We're supposed to be getting some from Hummer and Son's, Bossier honey company, in a few weeks.
He's not wrong. In the beginning we all thought it was going to be EA sports, local sponsors, and the top players in the country would get some nation pub like Nike / Gatorade.

The contracts and collectives are wild.

GENETICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back when I was coaching high school...so many parents would ask "Do you think my kid can play college ball?" I would usually reply with....Did you play? Well if they work hard enough, and want to walk on somewhere, or go to a smaller college. I'm sure there can be an opportunity out there.
That's a pretty cool experience even for a short period of time. I think I might do this for my dad.
Not always true, but the majority of the time yes. Especially true when dealing with a healthy lifestyle. If the mom at one point was good looking and gave up around 40 then it's what she saw and has the possibility of following.
I really don’t understand the power play here. He really needed to have an all SEC caliber year to even remotely ask for half the money.
