Not an excuse, a fact. The refs changed the outcome of this game.

Look I agree the team didn’t play great and probably deserved to lose the game based on that. I’m not complaining and I’m not making excuses. The team has to play better and be better prepared than that, period. And that’s on us. But the fact of the matter is, this was a one point game and if you don’t think the officials changed the outcome you’re higher than Lane Kiffin. Point blank we win that game if it is officiated fairly that’s not an excuse it’s a fact!

It would be interesting for someone with time on their hands to produce a comprehensive play by play presentation of the instances of no-call Holding. The subtle times where it could go either way.

You’re right but that’s exactly why the staff and team have to play flawless football. It sucks but the SEC has it in for LSU. It’s very obvious. The UK rushing TD that was allowed to continue pushing the QB after he was stopped is pure nonsense.

Refs suck at their jobs. Water is wet.

It did feel unfair. Weird of all people Kiffin must’ve not felt that way. If he did, he had the opportunity to take it out of the officials hands and the crowds hands and put the game away on 4th and 1 rather than extend the game and give them anymore chance to frick us.

He went into his bag of tricks all night. What caused him to go against his entire MO right there? Bewildering to me

I asked this multiple times, but did OM or UK have a single hold called against them in our games?

I really don’t think they did.

Leavitt’s mental errors and Blake’s idiotic defense, and our line play were the major issues. Bad calls are almost always going to happen.

Ole Miss was fairly officiated. They had 7 or 8 for around 80 yards.

The issue is I’ve seen at least 4 hits on Leavitt, while he was in the pocket, that were easy roughing calls not get a flag. Then last night the officials just refused to flag Kentucky unless it was blatant.

2 for 20, and none against their offense, in such a close and physical game is pretty remarkable.

Yes but this was egregious.

We'll never get a fair shake with Stankey at the helm.

Basketball will be just as bad

At least baseball has the ABS challenge system coming this Spring

I agree, the officiating sucked and was one sided. Despite that, the Tigers were still in a position to win, but threw it away.

It doesn’t matter how many times this happens over decades of bad calls. It keeps happening because the SEC is getting exactly what they want.

Remember 25 years go when people used to say you have to be at least 10 points better to win a SEC road game to account for home cooking? Pretty much showed up last night.

It’s been awhile that I’ve seen not 1 but 2 TDs happen in a game because of officiating.

But that just happened (no blocks in back on punt return and the goal line forward progress debacle play)

We win that game if our offense can gain 1 yd on 4th down. Instead we punt and play prevent defense.

LSU could've won the game even with the calls that didn't get made or bad calls. The refs didn't let them drive the field in 2min and no TO's, that is on the defense playing scared.

But yes I agree there were some bad calls and lots of missed calls.
-Goal line fwd progress was stopped. I think the whistle should've been blown.
-Holding on Prince countless times was never called.
-Just in general the refs performed bad. They had to reverse 2 catches that were clearly inbounds. There were no holding calls on any OL IIRC.

Also multiple missed face masks

Their QB had 8 seconds to get pushed into the endzone

A finger hit their QB

Princewell and Geralds were held nearly every play

The punt return was the worst I’ve seen in my entire life

In a fairly officiated game we’d be up by 3 scores at that point

Please stop acting like it’s one thing or the other
