The problem with that is:
His momentum was completely stopped, the refs were running in to spot the ball short and the defense was already letting up and signalling they had made the stop. After all that the UK OL push the QB into the end zone.

Welcome to the terrible forward progress rule that's been called that way for the 30+ years I've been watching football.

How are the refs against LSU when they kept making terrible calls to help LSU?

The argument is that the officiating was unbalanced. So I’ll ask again:

When is the last time you’ve seen a game where an offense had 0 penalties?

It's not contrarian if it's factual.

Easy calls like the terrible targeting that was clearly not target in real time or the TE catch were pro-LSU. How can you argue the refs were against LSU when they made these sort of calls all game?

That argument doesn't mean Kentucky never got a favorable call, mind you.

Goddamn you must be a shitty lawyer

Being right, like I am in this thread, is why I'm not

Again, the calls on the field weren't. LSU kept getting TERRIBLE calls in their favor.

And you're asking me a question without answering mine

You’ve stated no facts. You’ve given your opinion.

This is a fact: Kentucky’s offense had zero penalties assessed last night.

FWIW brother, I agree with you. They weren’t going to stop that for forward progress and it happens all over all the time. Not just LSU. I had no issue with that call at alll.

Why should I answer your question when I asked you first?

So, again, when is the last time you watched a game with zero penalties assessed against the offense?

So does coaching and not giving your opponent multiple opportunities to get back in the game.

No. I gave 2 specific factual examples

2 clearly terrible calls in real time made on the field that helped LSU that were reversed (the targeting and the TE catch)

...and one slightly subjective (although based in fact) example (the phantom roughing call on Leavitt

All 3 calls on the field helped LSU

We are always going to have to outplay the refs, no excuses we have known that for a long time. It sucks, but it is what it is.

So, again, these are not facts. These are opinions.

Sankey put the Referee Order 66 on all LSU games as revenge for the recruiting lawsuits. Kiffin needs to outright destroy his competition to beat the refs.

I just remembered another one. The LSU "catch" that clearly wasn't a catch in real time. That was another bad pro-LSU call in real time

Bama feels the same tonight also. LSU could not stop Kentucky and LSU could not move the ball. Might want to question the coach.
