Yes we got screwed...we will again. Quit overlooking glaring weaknesses. Our D is not capable of stopping teams with a pulse in must stop situations. Against OM, couldn't do it end of first half and end of game.....against KY couldn't end of first half, end of game, OT, 2 pt conversion. Quit making excuses. Just admit, the D isn't elite and Baker damn sure is overpaid. We also overpaid a QB.

So, again, these are not facts. These are opinions.

Did you watch the game?

Do you understand the rules?

The targeting was clearly not targeting in real time

The TE clearly got a foot in in real time

Both are objective facts based on what happened on the field and the rules

I understand the difference between fact and opinion. You clearly do not.

That’s apparently as far as we’re going to get.

Did you watch the game? I was watching both at the same time.

You can go into the game thread and see me comment on all of these calls in real time, mind you. This isn't some revisionist history of me poking at people being too emotional about last night and ignoring rationality

The rule lays out specifics

The facts are clear

What's the opinion involved in the comment that the player who got the bullshite targeting? We have the facts and can see he never hit the LSU player in the designated area for targeting. Explain the opinion involved.

Same with a TE catching the ball and getting a foot down in bounds.

Waiting on the answer to this, first

How are the refs against LSU when they kept making terrible calls to help LSU?

There is no such thing as fact is subjective calls. Every one of them involves some form of opinion.

Targeting is a subjective call.

That call wasn't subjective

There is an area designated for targeting in the rules

We have the facts that the UK player did not hit the LSU player in that designated area

Where is the opinion?

I agree, the officiating sucked and was one sided. Despite that, the Tigers were still in a position to win, but punted it away

No it's not

It requires either use of the crown or hitting a player in a designated area. Those are all factual determinations. There's no intent judgment or subjective evaluation about the damage done.

This is an excuse. LSU had plenty opportunities to win and put the game away. It is not a "fact" to say LSU would have won if it weren't for the officials - all we can say is a couple of things would have played out differently.

This LSU team is not a playoff team. They're very talented and at times look like they can compete with anyone in the country, but they don't have it all together yet. 3 potential all-americans being injured also does not help.

But that's ok, it's year 1 under Kiffin. This thing will get rolling.

“Use of the crown” is subjectively enforceable.

You can’t actually be this stupid.
