I don’t really. I was just mad that others agreed with the ones that attacked me instead of answering my question. Instead, they just said it was answered somewhere in the thread - after it was more than 90 pages long.

Have all these guys committed?
Why haven’t the ones who committed (other than Luis and Madar and the new kid) signed yet?

All have committed but Madar I believe is or has signed an agreement to stay in Israel.
The transfers have all signed because they don’t really have to get approval for eligibility since they were already eligible last season.
All of the overseas guys have to apply for eligibility with the NCAA. So they aren’t officially signed until their eligibility is approved. Same for Luis except his eligibility is in question because he signed a two way contract with the G-League and will likely have to sue the NCAA for a chance at eligibility.

Didnt see an 247/on3 profile for him, assume this is one of those "non paid" end of bench guys
The weird thing is he was visiting schools like Florida, Ohio state, and Virginia tech.

Noooo you rapid fired twenty posts asking twenty questions that had been discussed.
We’re not going to give you a full broken down narration of the thread. If it’s one question sure but not the whole damn thing.
Insert “ain’t nobody got time for that” gif

Noooo it was 2 posts that had questions in them. The rest were letting the op know that some of the players he listed were now committed elsewhere

If tweet fails to load, click here. He looks like a stud to me. Recruiting services are slipping if they didn’t even have a profile for him.

I’m an LSU bball homer too, but he does not look like a world beater. Very raw end of the bench type player. I’m confident Wade thinks he can develop him.

cmon. There are some small coordination intricacies that are obvious.

Just looking at some film, I’m assuming he didn’t do the travel circuits. Could be an explanation as to why there doesn’t seem to be a profile for him.
Based on the clips of film I’ve seen, he’s not a day 1 contributor.

Looks like your typical lower end 3 star prospect. 9th-10th man type for year 1
Ill take an all defense dude for scout team and if we are in a pinch with foul trouble

The bottom has fallen out for CBB recruiting services. If you are not a Top-60 ranked guy going into just your junior year of HS much less a late bloomer as a senior. It’s becoming harder and harder to be recognized, scouted, build a relationship with a staff, and then sign on a dotted line if many college staffs are even looking. Many of the most well known big name coaches shave openly said we don’t recruit the HS ranks at all. Well that take a ton of money, influence, and attention away from the HS/travel circuit.
No offense being given to these young men at all, but you have legit what would have been “3 star” talented guys just five years ago, posting about D-2 and very low D-1 offers. God bless them because that is still an educational opportunity they worked hard for and may have some small NIL change to go with, whereas high mid major and even power schools would be recruiting very hard they just aren’t. Major events like the Peach Jam, even the EYBL type shoe circuits, I would say get less than 25% of the college coach eyeballs they used to. I like the add if for very little money or whatever it is, if he gives you 3-5 minutes in even a remotely moderate/high leverage situation in a game because he can guard multiple positions and plays hard as a freshman it’s a win. If he leaves in a year or 2 not out a whole lot. I liken this addition to an NFL team using a 6th-7th round draft pick. If a team by and large is hoping that multiple 6th-7th round draft picks every year who get paid next to nothing relative to a first or second round pick are going to come in be major contributors every year you are probably in trouble or rebuilding. More likely if they develop into anything in 3-4 years it’s with somebody else after they had been on your practice squad or barely making the game day roster for 1-2 years.

Hey, I hope he works out, but in these videos, all you see them do is dunk. I hope he can improve his game and develop.

Coast, if you don't mind, post your prediction on which players we have committed who will or won't actually suit up for us this year.
Also, any other options we might be slow playing in case we don't get our guys eligible?

This is why the European/Pro thing is awful. Less and less HS guys will get noticed unless you’re top 50-60.

You’re not wrong, the euro thing is part of it but this has been a trend the past few years. It’s more about remote recruiting than anything, it’s a bad strategy but it’s a choice not an NCAA rule issue.

Alright time to start scouting what guards Michigan has and how can we get them !

Cadeau would obviously be the top prize.
It will be interesting to see what happens to the roster (assuming May does, in fact, leave). Mike Boynton would probably take over as interim. He'd likely be able to retain at lot of the current roster.

Time to reallocate the Madar money to a top Michigan guard
