It’s already essentially that way for the big deals, not per game but monthly or quarterly. Kids who don’t play in bowls basically give up their last payment.

It’s survival, the programs are all in massive debt and they have to do this. Once the teams are stolen from the schools this cash grab will help bridge things while they try to figure out what’s next.

Was very excited when I heard about this. After casting and first look was even more excited but once the backstory started being more explained I have no doubt it will not be good.

NIL and the Portal were designed to destroy college football. Playoff expansion is just the programs and the NCAA trying to fend off the inevitable result of the first two things.

Anything like College Sports, that becomes corporatized is dead the second it happens. It’s just a matter of how much can be squeezed from the product until there’s nothing left.
Of course you’re correct but the fact that he got the math that wrong on his central point causes his entire position to crumble

It’s a mix of issues. We can’t run it because we can’t block it guard tj guard and our all world TE is out so it’s hard to get on the edges. That limits our 1 on 1s and shot plays and we’re dropping back too much. We’re still productive but we’re not operating at optimum level right now. I’d run Sam more, threaten the backside of the D and give us more honest odds on the play side but I’m not going to make absolute judgments on the QB when the other pieces are at barely 50%. Your top guy is gone, your 3rd WR hasn’t been consistent, you haven’t had depth at TB and your Oline is below avg in the run game.
