I think RJ's counsel should argue that Sankey has to get on the stand and be subject to cross-examination...
Snow Bowl. State and A&M in a freak snowstorm in the 2000 Independence Bowl.
This is absolutely miserable. Everyone contributing these dumbass arguments needs to be banned. It would be real easy to just stop taking the bait from the 2-3 antagonist.

I understand that, I just am curious why Bediakos second hearing was like 3 weeks later in his situation.

Because Bediako received a TRO which is only good for 10-20 days. A preliminary injunction on the other hand is basically a mini-trial and lasts until the entire case can be heard later. Usually there is no later trial because the Judge has already told you how he intends to rule.

Looks like Luis chose not to pursue a TRO and focus solely on the preliminary injunction.

I am curious and maybe someone knows the answer, assuming this is a "temporary" injunction, could the follow up hearing fall some time during the season and then have to vacate any games he took part in? That's the only concern I have assuming they grant this ... Hopefully someone who knows more than I do can provide some reassurance

A preliminary injunction is longer lasting than a temporary injunction or TRO. If he's granted a preliminary injunction, the chances of that being changed before the end of March is pretty low.

Congrats. $1M in a 401k will pay you $40-50k annually. Not a ton because that is pre-tax but gives you something.

What funds are you in that get 4-5% annually? You should average 10-12 by just being in S&P index funds.

If you just earn 10% on that, you should double it twice in 16 years and have at least $4MM.
Just looking at some film, I’m assuming he didn’t do the travel circuits. Could be an explanation as to why there doesn’t seem to be a profile for him.

Based on the clips of film I’ve seen, he’s not a day 1 contributor.
A TRO is generally only good for about 10 days. Will see if he is successful in obtaining a preliminary injunction. That will determine whether he plays or not this season. Good first step for the player, but not across the finish line.

Keeping in mind Bediako was granted a TRO, but the Alabama state court ultimately denied the preliminary injunction.

Luis Jr, will need a heck of a legal defense, and a federal judge that has a very broad interpretation of certain things

Likely to be a state court judge. See Chambliss for example. Hard for the NCAA to get diversity jurisdiction.
If they take a position this year that is significantly different than last year, it won't hold up in court. The rules haven't changed, their "guidance statements" are not how rules are adopted.
If there is any PG available, why in the world would they not want to come play with the front court he’s assembled.
Looks like BYU thought they had him locked up.
UNC and Kentucky were after a lot of the same guys and Wade beat them out.

Just like last time, Cal didn’t like Wade beating him out for top players.
That solves it. He’s going to UNC then.

Based on your handle, we could probably just discuss over a drink.

Assuming this is a reference to the MS Coast.
Sounds like he's committed, but doesn't want it to go public until after his season is over...
