SEC Lands 10 Teams In Latest AP Top 25, Nine In Coaches Poll

The SEC placed 10 teams in the latest AP Top 25 and nine teams in the US LBM Coaches Poll following Week 3 of the college football season.

Texas remained No. 1 in both polls, while Georgia held steady at No. 2 after Saturday's action.

Ole Miss made a significant jump in the rankings following its 32-24 win over LSU in Oxford. The Rebels climbed to No. 4 in the AP Poll and No. 6 in the Coaches Poll.

LSU, meanwhile, dropped three spots to No. 10 in the AP Poll and four spots to No. 11 in the Coaches Poll after suffering its first loss of the season.

Texas A&M made a big drop to No. 20 in the Coaches Poll and No. 23 in the AP Poll following the loss to Kentucky.
