How about that Japan and Ivory Coast!

Or they just don’t want a bunch of creeps on the internet to know what they look like. Surely they will be invited to do media at some point.

A few of them show their faces (one from Scotland and almost all the females). They had some of them this morning on at least one of the Sunday shows I saw (Sunday Briefing on Fox).
For some reason, looks like On3 has him as Tyler Edwards

I didn’t know that. I haven’t lived in Baton Rouge in over 30 years

especially the transfer portal.

Somewhat agree. But I think a lot of people underestimate the impact of player retention for important players and positions. This, more than anything else is key because of continuity.

You can see that in how hard he worked to get certain players that he valued to come back out of the portal after they had entered (Durham, Spears, etc.) and kept others from entering (Pickett, and others).
I posted Cameron Carter-Vickers and Haji Wright’s ties to LSU (Howard Carter and Joseph Addai respectively).

Anyone else know of any others? Ones I’ve missed or ones with other SEC ties.

EDIT: I really should have put the others into this thread, but I thought about it after the fact
I know he’s not on this World Cup team (would have rather him than Miles Robinson).
However, seeing as he’s recently been on the shortlist and called up multiple times, as well as being on the last World Cup squad, I thought it was interesting that he’s the son of former LSU and Denver Nuggets basketball player Howard Carter from the early 1980’s.

SIAP Haji Wright ties to LSU

I was reading up on the USMNT players and was surprised to find out that Haji Wright’s cousin is Joseph Addai.

Yes, THAT Joseph Addai that played running back for LSU and won a Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts!
They paid his buyout and it was accepted by NC State. The End.

This tournament will be an attritional battle and we don’t have the depth.

If it happens, it depends on who goes down. If it’s CB or maybe a key player, then we’re in trouble and players that have to step up may dictate formation.
Depth up front isn’t an issue in my eyes. Neither is R or LB/WB.
All the keepers have strengths, but also big weaknesses. So, if one goes down, it’s really the same

All I read was “me me me” where he typed “we we we.” Sounds like he’s living vicariously through his son

As long as it’s not Brady.

BTW, I thought we had a couple of up-n-comers discussed before the last WC. Wonder what happened with them?
Are there any in the pipeline?

It’s hard to get starters minutes at that position
Germany hasn’t seen a defense this bad since France in World War II
