It’s pretty much fact the earth flooded around 12,000 years ago (younger dryas)

The flood stories permeate the entire world from Japan to Africa to North America.

That makes me wonder if the echo of history all these ancient civilizations share regarding Demigods, nephilim, Greek/Roman gods contains a grain of truth?

Perhaps the earth actually orbited on a different axis (and revolved around the sun much faster) before the comet hit us 13,000 years ago. This would explain 2 things:

1. People across all cultures lived several hundred years (because of the increased revolution)
2. Places like Antarctica being tropical

What if the comet of the younger dryas changes the revolution speed and the orbital axis?

This would also explain how ancient civilizations could move large thousand ton blocks. During the night, the increased revolution speed lead to lighter gravity.
