That was also debunked. Guns are often fired AT people in movies.
That point does zero to help Baldwin’s case and in fact would help destroy it.
If I was the prosecutor, I would find the armorer from a movie where they pointed a gun at someone / camera and go through in excruciating detail what precautions they took to prevent an accident then contrast that with what happened with Baldwin’s case. Even better would be from any other movie that Baldwin was in where a gun was involved.

Explain how a rehearsal vs a take makes any difference here? You 100% are out for political blood
Maybe the rehearsal was a mock and the armorer didn’t even know the gun was being used?
It’s a 100 % fact he sure as hell knew the gun was being used

It’s a joke and you 100% know it Alex Baldwin is 100% an assclown but you aren’t using logical or fair judgement at all
Sorry but I wouldn’t and neither would you get to use an excuse of, I didn’t know it was loaded.
It’s manslaughter. I don’t think he murdered the poor woman.
If you want to assign a portion of this elsewhere, that’s fine. He pulled the trigger. I can’t excuse not checking the gun if you are pulling the trigger. He’s at least one of the persons at fault.

I dont think i am ignorant on it, but as an intellectually honest person, im allowing for the possibility.

Then to compound that, he hired a shite company to save money to be the armorer and allowed multiple other events to happen that led to the gun being left loaded with a live round.
Didn’t his 2nd director supposedly check gun as well and told everyone it was “cold” or whatever term they use?
I have not paid attention to the more recent factual updates, but I thought I remember members of the cast & crew using the guns for target practices. I would like to find out what added procedures they were supposed to have in place for using real guns that are at times also being used to fire real ammo by actors & crew when gun not used in scenes.

Thats why an armorer is hired. Who had the easiest fricking job in the world. Just don’t put a live fricking gun on the set
That’s their actually job. Their responsibility. Which they are PAID to do
You know who hired the armorer? Baldwin himself. And he hired one that was inexperienced and young to save a buck.
You need to do some more research on the whole story here before making more stupid posts on the subject. Baldwin knew it was a real gun because it was used that day and the previous day for "target practice" firing live rounds for fun off-set. There were witnesses early on that said Baldwin himself used the gun for target practice before the fatal shooting happened that day. Thats why there were live rounds in the gun to begin with.
Do you honestly think if Baldwin were a "normal" non-famous person, he would've gone uncharged and unpunished in the same situation? Any one of us average joes in the same shoes would be sitting behind bars RIGHT NOW.
And aren't you a self-proclaimed lawyer? So you should understand that there's obviously facts to this case that lead a grand jury of normal individuals to believe Baldwin should face charges. Or do you think they're just being politically motivated reactionaries too?
You should stop digging yourself deeper and deeper, your credibility here is already questionable.

Actors have an absolute reasonable expectation that guns on set are not live ready to fire unless EXPLICITLY told so
No.
I would never work around someone that picks up a gun and starts pointing it at people and pulling the trigger without checking it.
Actors don’t get a free pass to be negligent. Alec especially doesnt if he’s the producer.

frick that hypocrite. He’s advocated gun control for years, made millions off guns in movies, and then violated the most basic rules of firearms.
Because of his arrogance a person is dead and another injured.
The 4 universal rules of gun safety are:
Treat all guns as if they are always loaded.
Never let the muzzle point at anything that you are not willing to destroy.
Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have made the decision to shoot.
Be sure of your target and what is behind it.
He’s an arse down and deserves to pay either civilly or criminally if the legal process makes that decision.
The FIRST thing you do with ANY firearm is check it.

Give it up. Baldwin is a libtard that portrayed Trump on SNL so he is guilty AF in this echo chamber.
And the grand jury that reviewed the facts of the case and decided it was appropriate to bring charges against him?
Were they in an echo chamber too? The whole dozen of them were MAGA Trump fans and just wanted to stick it to mean ol' Baldwin for making fun of the Orange One?
You people are just as bad - or worse - than the Trump diehards. You're infected with TDS so bad that it colors your view of everything inside and outside of politics. You're sick.

Look I think he’s a smug a-hole but I just don’t see his culpability here.
He was told “cold gun” by the people responsible for ensuring prop safety.

Every person I know that voted for trump thought his impression of trump was funny as hell.
Are we just going to pretend that the guy didnt kill someone?

Did they also tell him to point a loaded weapon at the cinematographer and pull the trigger?
