Look at midterm turnout. If we lose it will because morons are upset people like Massie lost and they stay home out of spite.

You posted these just minutes apart

Great political post.

Kindly frick off, Dolly transcended politics and race. Everyone loves her.

I hope her Imagination Library continues on. For anyone out there that has kids under 5, I would highly highly suggest signing them up. Over the life of the program they've given away millions of quality books, my sons little library of IL books is awesome. Tons of memories brought back from books that were around when some of us were kids too.

RIP Dolly. Truly a one of a kind legend.

GotDAMN he killed it. He always does, but this was especially epic.

If politics doesn't work out for him, he could be the new Rush Limbaugh. I'd listen to his shows.

I especially like the "nothing is real, everything Is-real" line in there when talking about online conspiracy theories running rampant

As I've gotten older, I've realized that there's a huge difference between truly dumb people and those that are just un/undereducated (i.e. ignorant)

You can take someone that knows absolutely zero about a subject, and if they're relatively intelligent they can build their knowledge and skills over time, make mistakes and correct them after one or two times, and eventually begin to think analytically and solve problems as they come or before they happen.

Truly dumb people repeat the same simple mistakes over and over, forget what they've learned almost immediately, have no social awareness because they're incapable of thinking beyond the most basic immediate personal needs, and have a hard time conceptualizing anything beyond the current thing happening in front of them. They have no imagination or ability to think critically, no ability to anticipate someone else's needs or the effects of their actions.

Truly dumb people are essentially blank slates that just await orders like robots, even down to the most basic of tasks. They have no clue how their actions effect others because they're incapable of thinking that deeply. They only live in the "now" and have a hard time learning anything that sticks or eliminating their mistakes.

We all know people like this

They found the need to give it massive boobs before giving it a face, or head at all

Thank the next US Marshal or FBI agent you happen to come across. They've both made a huge push to curb crime in the bigger cities in the southeast and other more LE friendly states.

Also, don't underestimate the national guard being deployed. They play a big part as well.

ETA - this is also the answer to the post above

most people who aren't sitting in on regular intelligence briefings are not that informed on national security. It's one thing to be informed on it through various media sources, its another to actually read the intelligence..

That's exactly what she should've said, almost verbatim. Instead she gave an answer almost like she's TRYING to lose.

And maybe she is? Maybe she doesn't really want it but feels pressured to run? Especially after Trump's endorsement

Thank God. Would've set a horrible precedent

Tucker’s descent into obscurity has really been something to behold.

The ones who can’t admit it are the ones still fueling him. Sad

Uhh...this thread is about the president of the United States posting about him by name. I'd argue that if ANYONE is keeping Tucker out of obscurity it's the most recognized man in the world posting about him (numerous times now too)

That's my biggest gripe with Trump posting dumb shite like this. It continues to give those three legitimacy and attention, when otherwise they're well on their way to obscurity

Awesome thread idea

I'm taking the T-100, especially if it's a manual. Not only did my grandpa drive one in the same red color posted here, but I have driven the modern version (Tacoma) since 2014.

Those T-100s, if the body and basic fluids maintained, would outlive us all. A vast majority of them were parked and retired simply due to rust and body damage from years of hard use, but would probably start right up in the junkyard with a fresh battery and some good fuel

I KNOW plumbing doesn't work that way but for some reason my brain prompts that error code.

Buddy, I have some news for you. You might want to sit down

As far as "irrational" fears go, any time I'm driving over 60ish mph I'm constantly concerned I'm going to have a tire blow out and go tumbling end over end to my death one random Tuesday morning.

The route I used to drive to work in my early 20s was notorious for potholes and construction debris, my tires would regularly have multiple nails and screws either causing slow leaks or just stuck in there holding the air inside. I became a professional at plugging tires.

Pretty much any interstate driving at high speeds I'm constantly thinking about how the smallest thing can lead to a fiery death no one saw coming. You can just be driving along one day with your family in the car and a random piece of road debris or mechanical defect send you into the trees at 80 mph.

I'm stressed out even just typing all this.

So Austin was a bit of a douchebag, while Karmelo was a bit of a douchebag AND a murderer.

One of them got the harshest sentence in existence, while the other sits in a cell getting fed three meals a day, visits from friends and family, has TV and exercise time, and will see freedom in a couple decades.

Should we free all murderers that killed someone without a spotless past? Is murder less murder-y if you kill someone that isn't a perfect angel?

All this stuff being released on both sides is doing nothing but stirring up the shite again. I really hope the new judge doesn't grant a new trial, this is setting a horrible precedent if he does.

That has to be so uncomfortable even just standing for a couple minutes. How can anyone live like that?
Maybe he just likes the weather?

The other day in my weather app I accidentally clicked on a random place in Iowa and they were under an Extreme Heat Warning

For highs in the mid-80s

Between the Iran mess and his bizarre statements and positions, its getting harder and harder to find the positives to defend and support Trump. I won't lie, the shine is wearing off quickly.

He's still better than anything the Democrats have to offer by far, but there's other Republicans that could be doing better right now
quote:

I support this because South Korea didn’t support us.

As do I.

But do you support North Korea and Kim Jong Un? Because that's what Trump made it about. SK not supporting us against Iran is just a footnote at the bottom after he gives props to Jong Un and North Korea, who stand for the absolute antithesis of what we are fighting for both at home and abroad

His statement would've been FAR more effective if he had just left out everything about KJU/North Korea. All he had to do was say that these military exercises are expensive and South Korea recently made it clear that they would not help us against Iran, but since it's too late to cancel we won't be spending our money to make this exercise anything but bare bones.

He had no reason to include any of the NK stuff or praising Kim there. It's just not a good look when you're actively at war to prevent Iran from becoming the next North Korea and the Ayatollah from becoming Kim Jong in importance and threat.

This is bad Trump. Social media/Truth has been the worst thing for his second term. It's where he's made all of his Iran blunders, threats, promises, and bluffs that have made the war a joke to the Iranian leaders. His presidency would be going 100x better if not for his social media

Pumping up North Korea/Kim and shitting on South Korea in the same post is not a good look. WTF Trump :banghead:

It's really a shame, because Northern California, Oregon, and Washington are some of the most beautiful landscapes in this country along the coast and inland. The weather is also nearly perfect for a majority of the year.

It's a mystery why the most ardent leftists and progressive marxists seem to congregate to the region. It's practically an outdoorsman's paradise, with all levels of game and fish and wilderness to tame. And still majority white, which may or may not be a good thing depending on your beliefs...

The political bubble they've managed to create there is unlike anything else in the country. In the deep south we have more black and Hispanic populations, in the northeast there's a mix of the above and European, middle Eastern, and Asian. In the southwest there's a huge population of Mexican and central Americans. The PNW is ethnically closer to the Midwest than the rest of the country, yet they are polar opposites politically.

Is it the air coming off the Pacific? Is it the bubble they've created for themselves where they're just bored and looking for problems to solve? Is it white guilt and suicidal empathy because they don't have to worry about other things the rest of the country does - like heat waves, hurricanes, tornadoes, immigrants pouring over a border, minorities commiting crime, etc?
