I hate Baldwin as much as the next guy, but this is such an over-simplification of what happened.

A lot of the "haha let him rot" mentality feels like it comes from the same place as the race hustling progressives who want to lock up every Rittenhouse based on politics.

Dude was on a set and handed what he essentially thought was a prop.

Did the guy that "shot" Bruce Lee's kid go to jail?

If I have a bad-understanding of the facts, i will retract my unease and join the mob.

Why do you guys keep saying that? He's been indicted by a GJ and this will go to trial unless he pleads out.

He's too much of a narcissist to do that so on the trial we go.

It is due to his lack of owning what he did and blaming the death on others. The armorer is the main culprit but Baldwin came off as a complete chode in full deflection mode.

Why even make this post when you know you're ignorant to what happened?

Then why did he lie and say " I never pulled the trigger"?
He knew he fricked up and didn't want to own it.

It's not, he did exactly that. He pointed a weapon at the woman and pulled the trigger.

If the stunt director forgets to put air in the Blow up Landing pad, and the actor pushes the other actor off the edge as the script says, should he also be charged since he didn’t take it upon himself to check the landing pad himself?

I mean he still absolutely killed them in both cases

And when actors push other actors off the ledge of a building they know it’s a real ledge too. If the safety rope isn’t setup correctly by the other crew members guilty says the OT

Explain how a rehearsal vs a take makes any difference here? You 100% are out for political blood

Your opinion on this means every actor needs to check air bags, safety ropes, gun props, etc anytime before they do a stunt scene with another actor. It’s a joke and you 100% know it

Alex Baldwin is 100% an assclown but you aren’t using logical or fair judgement at all

You're such a fricking clown. Baldwin negligently killed a person.

So answer the fricking question

During a rehearsal, an actor pushes another actor off a ledge like the script says. The safety rope is incorrectly managed by the stunt team and the actor dies

Guilty right?

Some idiot gave Tom hanks a real live grenade during saving private Ryan, BOOM! Dead people

Tom hanks is guilty right? Gotta inspect all your grenade props yourself right?

Baldwin was also a producer or whatever back of the house manager of this movie. Baldwin allowed the prop guns to be fired the day before which should never be done.

Baldwin also fired a "blank" directly at someone, which is a major NO NO. Even blank shells, are ALWAYS fired with angles involved so as not to be shooting at someone.

So yes, if this is a movie set on top of a building and no one is supposed to be pushed off the edge its just a fake push with an angle that makes it look like they go over the edge, and Baldwin was a producer and knew that and was the actor that pushed someone over and there was a failed landing pad. He is absolutely guilty.
