Should be arrested and jailed, yes. Shot and killed, no. Thats how this country works. You have your day in court. Not saying he is not a POS who needs his arse whipped. But, we cant be saying "oh he got mad and kicked a car last week, fricker deserved to die"

Dude had a death wish. Openly and brazenly confronting law enforcement WHILE ARMED with a gun is a horrifically stupid move. It’s the equivalent of downing 5 shots at a bar, getting into a Corvette, and driving 120 mph. You may get away with it a few times, but your luck WILL run out.

Miami mistakes biting them in the arse like usual, now IU is turning it on.

IU will make them pay too.
I would also add internal bleeding also doesn’t always show up immediately. My guess is he had a lingering issue and got it checked out in the last couple of days an it showed up in a scan.

So she was in reverse is now their excuse? It takes a fraction of a second to go from reverse to drive. To put is plain English, you are in reverse until you’re not which in this case took less than a second.

Here’s the thing. Her reversing is what put the officer in danger in the first place. Her reversing is what put the officer in danger in the first place, Before she reversed. The officer was completely clear of any danger if she moved forward. When she reversed, at a minimum it would have opened up the angle putting the officer in the danger zone. But, her cutting the wheel to the left but the officer directly in front of the car.

Yup. 2019 LSU would be lucky to keep it within 3 scores. Mendoza is Burrow with a 200 IQ.
quote:

Yeah Mendoza won’t be nearly this comfortable against Miami. And Miami’s skill players are a problem for anyone.

So you’re saying 31-17 Indiana?
Cignetti is a bona fide serial killer and the team plays with that personality.

Fiesta Bowl was a major bowl prior to 1993- PSU vs Miami in 1987

Good list and methodology. Only thing I would suggest is a higher weight to undefeated but no NC seasons as until the 4 team playoff, it also required luck / favorable polls to be recognized NC.

Texas in 69 and Nebraska in 94 get more credit than undefeated PSU teams in those years. LSU gets 8 points for their 2007 NC despite 2 loses (not their fault everyone else had 2 losses) which only happened once. Literally any year prior to the 4 team playoff they would not have been recognized NC.

Unlike Oklahoma, IU has an offense. And quite frankly probably an even better defense. I know the idea of Indiana being the best team in the country is so mind blowing to college football fans that they have to think it's some kind of fluke and they'll get exposed soon. But it's not a fluke. Indiana just really is that good. If this season went play for play, opponent for opponent, but they had a script A on their helmets instead of the IU logo, no one would question it or find it hard to believe

We are seeing the birth of the new Death Star of college football and it’s the Hoosiers ?!?!

Kirby Paul Smart

If Smart was hired by Indiana two years ago, would he have accomplished as much?

What Cignetti has done in the last two years is the greatest coaching job in college football history.

Wait, 10-2 Vandy from the vaunted SEC is not as good as 8-4 Iowa from the BIG?

Despite LSU's worst 5 year stretch in the past 26 years, LSU has a better record than Minnesota against a much tougher schedule. Where is the excuse? LSU fans were pissed at the level of play and fired 2 coaches in this span.

Let’s get real. Is the SEC schedule really that tough in 2025? Hell, one of their playoff teams this year lost to a team last year with no NIL and no transfer portal.

Hurts has a set of traits that are useful…..but it doesn’t necessarily add up to him being a too 15 QB. The tush push bullshite has helped them immensely….especially since it’s not called properly Hurts is just NOT a top QB in the league.

As opposed to Josh Allen? The Josh Allen who had three major frick ups that cost his team the game today? Horrific playcalling by the Eagles OC in the 2nd half really hamstrung the Birds. It’s been a major issue all year along with 3/4 of the offensive line being injured for most of the year.

Allen cost his team 10 points with his fumble and the 25 yard backward scramble that took them out of FG range. Doing that works against average defenses, but, the Eagles are elite and the best defense in the league. The Eagles get you into a chess match where the offense does just enough, doesn’t make the big mistake, and dares you to play perfect against their defense.

Switzerland cannot defend itself against a full-scale attack and must boost military spending given rising risks from Russia, the head of its armed forces said.

Seriously? A country who is STRUGGLING with Ukraine, and has to go through about 6 NATO countries to get to Switzerland? Military Industrial Complex needs to eat!
There’s a ton of ignorance on this thread on how self defense works and when it is lawful. Based on the facts so far, the homeowner is screwed. In order to use deadly self defense (shooting at someone is deadly self defense) you have to be under an imminent threat of death or serious bodily harm. Just trespassing doesn’t cut it.
There’s a ton of ignorance in this threa. We’ve had a Chevy Volt (plug in hybrid with 50 mi on the battery before the gas generator kicks in, about 350 min range total) since 2016 and a Chevy Bolt (all electric with 240 mi range) since 2017. Horses for courses, but we’ve been very happy with our fleet. Some observations:

- If you live somewhere where you can install a level 2 charger (less than $1000 all in) you start your day everyday with a full battery. That’s a game changer. How often do you start your day with a full tank of gas? Our electric bill is only about 60/mo more charging both cars as they charge during non peak hours. You basically have the gas station in your garage.

- GM SHAT the bed and SHAT the bed hard with the Volt. I would argue that the Volt was the most innovative car that has come out of GM in decades. They had an edge on Toyota hybrids with battery range as well as Tesla because of 0 range anxiety. I’ve gone weeks solely on battery with the Volt. GM screwed up big time by not expanding the Voltec drivetrain to the Equinox, Traverse, and Silverado. Imagine the current V6 Silverado with a battery range of 100 miles. Can still tow, no range anxiety, with an inverter, can power a jobsite, etc.

The Volt is the perfect commuter car. Unfortunately, GM was too dumb to figure it out.

- EV’s shine in traffic with stop and go driving and regen.

He service selected Navy Pilot. At the game, not sure they showed it on TV but Horvath took a massive headshot on the first drive. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was concussed the whole game.

It'll get glossed over by the media, but it's an issue that needs to be addressed. Bama being touted for having the best win, yet that same team just violated them by 3 touchdowns yesterday giving them their 3rd loss. The committee is telling us that brand and name of the university matters.

It’s almost like losses don’t matter. Sure, you have a great win, but losing to a horrible FSU team should mean more.
Cignetti out coached college football this year. Every school in the P4 except maybe Georgia and Oregon would fire their coach immediately if Cig called and said he wanted to coach there.

Ohio State’s Oline is the best I’ve seen this year. Indiana isn’t winning a rematch

That O-Line got dominated by Indiana’s D-Line. 5 sacks.

While Bama played a 13th game, the second time they played UGA this season (they won @ UGA already), a team that couldn’t even qualify for the pathetic ACC championship game (Miami), and a team whose best win is USC-w (Notre Dame) had bye weeks. Now some absolute mouth breathing retards on here who don’t know shite about frick when it comes to ranking teams want to be like “BAMA DONT DESERVE TO MAKE DA PLAYOFFS NOW!”

Don’t lose three games with one of them being a crappy team.

Penn State shouldn't be a place that hires a guy that needs to cut his teeth at the position.

This. Hartline is an outstanding position coach and recruiter but, has ZERO head coaching experience at any level. No way was he getting the keys to a top 10 program that was in the CFP semi’s the year before.

Insiders said Elko was the target, but he withdrew about a month ago then PSU set their sights on Sitake. PSU had an agreement with Sitake on Sunday which allowed him to coach the B12 Championship game. There was a BYU team meeting scheduled Monday afternoon for him to announce.

BYU boosters and donors caught wind and pledged the money to keep Sitake as well as a full court press by higher ups in the LDS church.

Firing Franklin at the time was the right move. Losing two straight as 20 point favorites is inexcusable. Add losing three games against top 5 teams when you had the ball to win the game on the last possession and your 5 star qb throws a pick into quadruple coverage on first down, things became extremely toxic in Happy Valley.

The AD bodged it by not also firing the GM who was a Franklin loyalist and basically kept working for Franklin after he was fired (killed the recruiting class) . Not hiring Terry Smith after Elko said no after it became apparent that Smith may have some head coaching chops was the other.

The team started playing much better once Franklin was fired - first three games were at Iowa, at OSU, and home vs Indiana with a brand new QB. Us Penn State fans viewed that if Kraft couldn’t get the whale because the market changed, we could see the benefit of hiring Smith for about 5 million, and using the money saved towards NIL and the roster.

The vaunted Jim Knowles defense gave up 500 yards to Rutgers last weekend.
