Philosophical Discussion: Why does the far left keep winning and winning big?

I am seeking an intelligent discussion so that we can get out of our bubble on here. This is an overwhelmingly extremely right wing space and the few leftists that post on here are dismissed as kooks and usually just not up to the task.


Last night as we slept, super far left candidates took two of the sneakily most important elections in the country, the Wisconsin Supreme Court and Mayor of Chicago. The Chicago one might be more disturbing as they elected an actual Communist, someone far, far, far worse than Lori Lightfoot and no one thought that possible to elect someone worse.


So why does the left keep kicking the shite out of the right? They have taken the popular vote in 5 of the last 6 Presidential elections, a Republican has only had more votes than their opponent once this freaking century.

And they seem to keep winning. They have taken control of the media, youth, education, much of the judiciary outside of the Supreme Court and a couple of fed circuits, District Attorney's offices, and our law enforcement and defense apparatus.



I am seeking a discussion that is more intelligent than simply "free shite" and "they cheat" (although certainly it could be as simple as those things, but for sake of discussion I am looking for more). Let's go beyond that and have a real discussion outside of our comfort zone, as to how this can be so appealing to so many, and how it can be effectively combated.
