Not sure.
On another note, it's impressive how many returners LSU has this year.

If the issue doesn't resolve, don't rule out inner ear conditions which may also be causing symptoms like the ones you're describing. This may be an incorrect spelling, but an otolaryngologist (or close to that) specializes in conditions of the inner ear.

The collaboration and success of the OT in finding the lost dog in New Orleans East roughly a couple years ago was amazing.
Sometimes this is, in fact, how the OT works. And it is beautiful.

Please update this thread with any news.
We are in Louisiana and a trip all the way to Odessa would be out of the question for us. But if no other options present and someone might be willing to assist with transit, I'd rather have that discussed fully before any rash decisions are made.
Thank you.

re: Fed Appeals Court rules most Trump tariffs illegal, next step Supreme Court

So much of this thread is ignoring what the case at issue actually held.
The case did NOT hold that the statute does not authorize the imposition by the President of any tariffs at all. The 7-judge majority expressly said their decision was NOT addressing that issue. And the 4-judge dissent expressly opined that the statute does authorize such imposition of tariffs.
Thus, the numerous statements in this thread to the effect that the statute does not permit the imposition of tariffs are disingenuous (or, at best, misguided).

Even the majority did not hold that the statute does not permit the Executive to impose any tariffs whatsoever.
Thus, the majority did not hold that the statue is not "a tariff law."

The decision was 7-to-4. The dissent, which was joined by the court's chief judge, is well-reasoned. Time will tell.
Not to hijack, but, Wow, the N.O. Catholic League players on those 1980's teams -- Martin (DLS), Roland Barbay (H.C.), John Hazard (Jes), Nicky Hazard (Jes), Tommy Clapp (BM), Ron Sancho (Shaw).
There are only 2 senators in Louisiana, 100 in the country. It is important.
What purpose does the Republican party serve if not to prop up good candidates for such critical roles? Why do they ask me for money if not to assist in filling these seats? Why do they send me surveys asking me which national issues are important if they're not involved in putting good people in place? What do they do with my money?

Voters were given him as the Republican choice.
Why?
Why?
In whom the party props up -- like Cassidy? I'm not sure; but the party certainly controls who gets to "the party."

I thought that was for Dalton.
Louisiana- Republicans control everything meaningful in terms of lawmaking...

No one born 1946-1954 bought a house in 1960.
re: Trump warns appeal court about ruling against tariffs
Posted by Zachary on 8/8/25 at 12:15 pm to AaronDeTiger
A couple of notes (not exhaustive):
1. The lower court ruling whence this appeal comes did not hold that the statue at issue prohibits the President from imposing any tariffs whatsoever (and, in fact, a related statute which is facially-silent on the issue of tariffs has been held to authorize the President to impose certain tariffs).
2. It seems a bit disingenuous to argue that in this particular instance the administration's use of tariffs steps on Congress's toes, because Congress always has the power, under the National Emergencies Act, to call off the "emergency" declared by the President.
3. I think (but stand to be corrected) that even a ruling adverse to the administration in this case would not prevent the administration from entering into deals with other countries.
