This is both an age of consent situation and a superior/subordinate situation. If one person has some sort of authority over the other (coach, boss, LEO, etc) then there is an expectation that they don’t coerce the other person to do something regardless of their age.

That’s my point. If the play yesterday is roughing then I don’t quite know how a DL can sack the QB w/o it being a penalty. Like I said above, the hit was NOT too high (head area) or too low (knee area) AND he didn’t fall on top of him. He literally just hit him hard but totally within the rules (well ar least what I thought the rules were). The announcer’s response was something that the ref has the ability to deem the hit “excessive” and then they just moved on.

Saint DT had a sack yesterday where he beat the G, put his face mask in the QB’s chest, and fell along side of him when he took him down (non of the body weight bs) and still flag. I’m not sure what else he could’ve done.

Public schools absolutely recruit and they have a huge advantage if their school is actually a quality school (like Karr) bc they can offer free tuition.

Exactly. They realized with the wind being strong in their face, a punt wasn’t going far any way. They obviously watched the BM/Rummel game the week before and saw they what a strong headwind would do to punting game.

Homer PBP is the best PBP. The Graff calling Tulane football PBP was the unbelievable! Not to mention the GOAT over at UGA!

It’s just seems weird not to use Liam Neeson. He seemed like the perfect fit and theoretically available unless he turned it down for some reason.

Pre-roids Barry would still have been a HOF. PEDs simply turned him into the best hitter that ever lived by quite a bit. Personally I think part of why Bonds did it was to prove a point. Guys like Palmeiro or Bagwell turned themselves from good players to superstars by using PEDs. Bonds showed what would happen if an all time great decided to level up.

Wind definitely was a factor. Rummel weathered that (pun intended) much better than BM.

BM went right down the field on their 1st drive after a very short (wind induced) Raider punt but got bogged down inside the 10. They actually missed a 20FG caused by a poor snap but Rummel got a 5yd running into kicker penalty.

After that it was several self inflicted wounds by BM when they had the wind at their back. 2 really costly TOs by the running QB (1 bad option pitch after getting like 8yds and then a fumble on the 1st play on next drive). Rummel scored on both with a TD and FG.

When Rummel got the wind at their back in the 2nd, they made the most of it and just imposed their will on a clearly gassed BM defense. BM punter then struggled big time with the wind in his face fumbling 2 snaps with 1 resulting in a safety.

BM hit Royal on a cross in the 2nd quarter but Rummel DB made an outstanding shoestring tackle to save at a min long gain but very possibly a score with Royal breaking free in secondary.
