By the time you hit your late twenties, early thirties, all of the quality people have gotten married. All that's left are broken divorcees or single people who have a higher body county than Pol Pot. They single people at that age all have too much baggage.

That doesn’t mean I don’t know how to cook. I make breadwinner money and I cook 5 nights/week. But I also enjoy cooking so it’s not a burden. I don’t think my breadwinner friends who don’t like to cook are bad wives—their families somehow survive. In fact, most of their husbands like to cook and do as such. But I guess complementing your partner and not assigning typical gender roles to every category is bad.

This phenomenon has much more to do with the sexual revolution of the 60s and women in the workplace than it does with the courts or family law. Men naturally do not want to be tied down. They want easy sex. We completely changed our society to give them this and it turns out this is obviously not optimal for women, who naturally desire commitment because the burden of reproduction falls disproportionately on them.

You need to set up your society to control men's urges, not to treat women and men like they are the same. Instead we are making it so that even totally unworthy men can now get access to sex.
