Probably get some hate here, but LA with a bullet. I’ve never been to LA despite traveling the US extensively. Just never happened.

But I’m so curious about how the other side lives. I want to see so many parts of the city as a fly on the wall. I’m so interested in the different neighborhoods. Glamour to trash.

Portland is a cool little place.

For me, I’d say San Diego.

SD is high on my list as well. I’ve never hit up SoCal.

Really, the only major cities I haven’t spent time are

Miami
LA
SD
Portland , ore
Detroit
Salt Lake
ETA - Baltimore

Checked off the rest.

Philly and Boston. Never really spent much time in the northeast.

5 years ago I would have said Seattle. Now, not so much. Not many places I haven’t been that I want to visit. Savannah or Asheville I guess.

I've never been to Minneapolis but I may not go this year. I'd really like to canoe the boundary waters.

Been to L.A. a ton, and had never even been to Hollywood Blvd. until the visit before my most recent one. A lot of people shite on L.A., rightfully so if they're going to certain parts of town as a tourist, but there are lots of areas there that are not dirty or bad at all.

Strolling down Melrose and stopping in the trendy restaurants that line the street is really great in nice weather, and bonus you see a lot of really badass cars you don't see everyday here. West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and even certain parts of Studio City and North Hollywood are all nice.

Been through a lot of the lower income neighborhoods due to the nature of my job, but it isn't like I live in a bastion of beauty in BR anyway. Rarely felt unsafe, even being over in Compton, but that might speak more to my personality, as I rarely feel unsafe when I probably should.

Seattle and Portland were two at the top of my list before 2020. No rush to get to either of those anytime soon now.

Miami is probably my answer.

Washington D.C.... set aside the current political crap, I really want to spend time there seeing the history firsts hand and spend days in the museums.

My company is based in LA and I had never been until i was hired 9 years ago. Now i've been 20+ times and love it.

Its stupid to say LA sucks, therefore the LA area sucks. Even if you dont like certain parts of town, driving north to Melrose, Santa Barbara, or south to Huntington Beach and Newport is beautiful.

We've hiked the Hollywood sign and Griffin Observatory 3x and it gets better every time.

Major US city: Philly- I’d hit the historic highlights and eat a cheese steak. Probably just need a day.

Smaller cities/areas- never been to Montana. I’ve been all over the west, just never hit that state.

After visiting Montana and really enjoying it, I want to check out both Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Salt Lake City.

Another option would be somewhere in the northeast. The farthest I've been in the northeast was Syracuse. Wouldn't mind going to Boston, Portland, Martha's Vineyard, the Cape, etc...

As others have mentioned the pacific northwest was on my list before recent events, but I'll probably pass on that for the time being.
