Look at all the candidates who lost in red states and purple states

Hyde Smith
Paxton
Mike Rogers
Husted
Graham
Collins

And yes this includes Trump with his quagmire war in Iran and high energy prices and stagnant economy and his endorsement of these shitty candidates.

We want America first, not Israel first.
We want spending cuts not 2 trillion deficits
Yesterday was a message. Purge the GOP and become a party for everyday Americans and our interests (and our pocketbooks).

It was an acceptance of propaganda. A bunch of feminine men throwing a fit and allowing evil to win because they’re little bitches.

this country wants problems to be solved in 1.5 years.

if you cannot fix what dems create, you lose.

ww2 was won in 5 years.

that could not happen today.

Reminiscent of McCain campaigning on “the surge” as approval of the Iraq war was at all time lows.

I think its more that they don't want easily avoidable problems to be created in 1.5 years. See Iran.

It’s fair to say it was a mixture of these things.

It was a repudiation of every GOPer. They banged the drum about affordability for four years under Biden and voters gave them the keys to the kingdom. Then they proceeded to implement tariffs and start a war, making affordability demonstrably worse.

You don’t have to fix problems in 2.5 years. You DO have to follow through on your promises - that’s why you were elected in the first place

It was a rejection of unserious people like Trump just grifting, and mostly grifting off the hoards of maga types.

Texas ran Paxton and Bo French for statewide office? Anyone with one cell of critical thinking ability would not walk into a voting booth and say “yeah those are good guys who deserve to make important decisions for us.”

Exactly this. You can’t run on “America First” and then not follow through with that. Even if the perception is worse than the reality in some respects they completely opened themselves up to it.

The people that don't like Trump wish Bush would have won in 16.

Let me preface my remarks by stating that I am a conservative. I also support Trump's stance on illegal immigration and his move to get other members of NATO to share more of the economic costs.
I detest Trump's intentional profanity which has detracted from the dignity of the highest office in the land. His arrogance and bullying tactics are unacceptable and have led to his party's downfall.
Despite all, he still has a chance to redeem himself by ending Russia's folly in Ukraine. He needs to end the Iranian threat and the Houthi threat militarily, but he will need the strong support of allies to do so.
